Thanks for the info. Took a look and seen good reviews for Spring but they are fully booked.
There is this Saigon Boutique Hotel at only $39USD, anyone stayed there before?
Elios is about $74SGD which is priced around Tan My Dinh, Oscar and Saigon Star.
Will book Elios since it comes recommended. Thanks!
Btw, is Asiarooms the best place to book?

The rates on our website and on most other room portal websites are all based on the period, which is correct from customer's point of view. however this rates actually apply if you book early , say a month or 2 beforehand in advance or during non-peak seasonal periods. We can apply this special rates becuz hotels 'allocate' a certain among of rooms for us travel agents. but come during super peak season as of now, the hotels will reduce drastically the number of travel agent allocated rooms in order to earn as much as possible from coporate clients and walk in customers, hence you see a little difference in the website advertised rates during peak seasonal periods. we can;t put all rates based on seasonal periods becus it will look confusing and peak seasonal rates are subject to change according to the Hotels' will.

You can take an example like booking a budget flight, the earlier you book, the cheaper. but book it in the last minute when the seats are almost gone, you can tell the difference in the price.

if you got more questions and enquiries, do let me know :)

hey Saigon, would you like me to look for another alternate 4 star hotel or 3 star boutique hotel in district 1? Rex Hotel is room rates are pretty expensive from 2008 onwards 40% more than the current 2007 rates becuz they are due for a 5 star rating from 4 star rating tis mid june 2008 after theie expansion renovation is completed.

For Elios Hotel, you might wanna let me know which dates you wanna check in and check out and how many rooms..? i'm no psychic... :s22:
