just back from hcm .....

Have a second hell of experience this time..... the person i go with never plan properly, did not check the timing of the bus towards mui ne....

First took a cab to bien hoa as i want to meet up and leave earlier to go mui ne.... cab fare damn ex..... 600K...... Bus timing no good as 10 am bus have gone... next timing i remember 3 pm....

Then first time see how hitch a ride works, jump to anybus on the way which i do not recommend as you be sitting on the floor in a sleeper bus which is so pack already.... And i believe is over the limit of the people it can take.... Secondly the bus drive too fast which explain why there so many accidents in Vietnam
typical vietnamese YOLO mentality.. love it or hate it...

break up with 1 of my vnb gf because of that.. cannot tahan their bo chup attitude toward unable to plan anything. or plan already but cannot meet..

But wat's the point of visiting the tunnel but not go inside:D
Actually I scare the rain flood the tunnel then I need to swim in it:s13:

Not sure if they will close the tunnels when it rains, but when I visited after a rain, the tunnels were fairly muddy. I am sure the tourist tunnels are not prone to flooding.

Hi, mailinh cabs are common. Should cost about 300-400K dong.

However, it is still best to ask your hotel in Hoi An to arrange for a pickup for you from danang airport.

Arriving to Hanoi on Friday around 2PM, leaving on Monday at 11AM. Will be there mid-september this year.

I and my wife do not intend to stay in the city - we would rather go somewhere unique in terms of nature/history/culture.

Any recommendations where to go and see while NOT spending more than 4h one way from Hanoi? Anyone have been at Ba Vi or Xuan Son National Parks?

Anybody? Or you guys never travel outside of city and running from one mall to another?
