My most expensive deposit is Pullman hotel at Vung Tau- vnd $2 million

The rest r just $1million.

Always ask for the credit card receipt. \o/ \o/

Hi guys I am visiting vietnam for 8 days. I plan to visit Nha Trang. I will stay at ho chi minh for a night.

I am on budget would like to save on transportation.

Can anyone help me on this?

THe listings that u have are high end.
All in the hotels.

I never try Buffet coz I’m a solo traveller.
But
I eat seafood. See the past few posts
Had one in HCM.

Depends what kind of seafood.
If u have crabs. They calculate by kg.

No matter what. The pricing should be cheaper than sg
Try those standalone restaurants. Not hotel kind.
If anything more expensive. Make sure the food is really delicious.
Always check with TripAdvisor. Most of the reviews r quite accurate

Things that are more expensive than sg are your branded goods
Eg. Nike, Adidas, etc

U can. No one can control u wat u wanna eat.

But some food outlets quite small and cater for groups
Unless u go for hotel kind.

As solo traveller, timing also crucial.
During lunch or dinner peak hours. U can’t even find seats for those popular joints.

If u ever go alone in other countries , trying to have meals in those foodie places is hard to get seat. So either you have meals during off peak hours. Which is before lunch /dinner or after lunch /dinner

That disrupt your visiting schedule.

In HCM , for instance.museums don’t open during lunch hours
Ask u come back later.

Yeah I agree, idm hotel or standalone restaurants so long it's approx 300-600k per pax it's still within budget. 1m vnd per pax for one person is a little too extravagant for me

My word. Of advise don't take bus from hcm to NHa Trang the journey est around 12 hours, I took b4.

Take the budget airline Vietjet, coat should be less than 80 sgd

Was wondering if you had seafood or any kind of buffet? How much would one cost typically? I tried googling and saw some high end restaurants quoting from 500k VND to 1m+ VND per pax (inclusive of alcoholic beverages). It is quite costly even for a Singaporean to be honest. For 2 pax it'll be close to S$150 already.

yes there are non hotel buffet, almost 20% of the shopping center restaurant are korean BBQ buffet like kings buffet, sumo buffet, soeul garden etc

I can immediately purchase my air ticket airline Vietjet for the next day when i arrive Tan Son Nhat International Airport?

To add on, I find the Foody app better than TripAdvisor. Tripadvisor all FT postings. Foody ish by locals. No need to know viet, just agar and see the score and smiley faces

Ask for English speaking movie.

Usually they have 2 kinds.
• One is English speaking with Vietnamese subtitles
• one is dubbed in Vietnamese.

Make sure u buy the right one. \o/ \o/

Both ways about 100 SGD, suggest to buy in advance cause the later you buy the more expensive.

For hotel i recommend Poseidon, they have nice big room and good location.

For leather goods and bags, there's Trang Vang, Ca Sau Thanh Vinh, Ca Sau Huy Hoang, Xuongda.vn, Kieu Hung Limited Company


Many of the stalls at Ben Thanh night market and Malaysia street sell straight-out replicas... Mainly from China.

As for shoes, so far, it's difficult to ID the replicas from the Rejects.

I went to Ben thanh market and cannot find the local Vietnam brand Narcissco leh. help me pleaseeeeee also can shun bian tell me where to get the rejected goods hehe. I went and the sales all damn pushy. I scared ahahhahah
