When using grab, pay with transferwise rather than grab mastercard. The former has got a very favorable exchange rate.

lol the way u compare "16,000 plus vs 17,000 plus" then of course a lot of difference. but is actually 16900 vs 17100 at most.

transferwise is similar with revolut and other services, yes u get a good rate but will only work with mastercard services. grab wise someone told me revolut doesn't work with it but i not sure about transferwise.

regardless, u still need cash on the go for street food. unless u intend to eat at malls and restaurants that accept mastercard all the time..

i heard this before as well, but it's either old or it's inaccurate. lồn means pu$$y so maybe it used to be a slang to say lol instead. just like how cứt means sh*t but people type cuc instead.

Also, is it advisable to DIY a 3d2n trip to Sapa?

This time of year not advisable to go Sapa (harvesting season over). I would suggest Ninh Binh and Halong Bay. These are my suggestions (for nature lovers) after my own travelling research.

Not saying now go to Sapa but in general. I went to HLB on my trip last week, so might consider Ninh Binh. Is it a landscape place like Sapa/HLB?

i went to the bitexco one. 2 person total bill around $48 SGD. hard to tell u the price but depends on what u order? if u want the price of all the individual items, i don't have it.

Queue wise, what i did was i called in first, they asked for my number and told me i will be given a priority queue when i arrive and provide my number to them. that's what i did and i was given a table in just 30 minutes.
