for solo not really low costs

enjoy craft beer but those ain't cheap

to me consider okay la the extra 1 to 2m ontop of rental.
there are few good craft beer over here like east west and heart of darkness

Hi all

I'm planning a solo trip to Hanoi/Ninh Bing/Halong. Probably booking my trips to NB and Halong through Klook. Any suggestions of where to stay, eat and shop in Hanoi? is it better to stay around Old Quarter or is it a tourist trap? any other day trips that I can include? Not planning to go Sapa cos doesn't look that interesting to me

Nope not a fan of seafood or porridge…
But if u like seafood can head to q4.

my friend paying around 300usd per month for a two bedroom apartment in Q7.
im paying much more since im located in Q1 right inside japan town.
with my rental , i could get a unit in thao dien or vinhomes haha

sightseeing is cheap.
maybe 50SGD one day ? thats around 800+k more then enough for food if u take it easy.
