u reach airport at 2.15pm, have u factor in delays ? time to clear immigration and traffic ?
i can tell u from my experience you wont be able to make it ontime.
due to the immigration in hcm. the queue for it is crazy during ur timing

Another qn if i reach hcm airport at 215pm, able to catch the sleeper bus at hanh cafe (need 32 mins travel time) at 415pm, need to reach 30 mins earlier, so 345pm.

On End Feb ( Mon) this yr, I arrived at 345pm (Bamboo airlines), waited at immigration for abt 1.5hrs. You need to factor in the traffic jam from airport to Hanh cafe as well.
I reach Hanh cafe abt 630pm for the 645pm bus to Mui Ne.

28th Jun: Arrive SGN at 2215hrs
29th Jun: Depart SGN at 0545hrs

My current plan is to sleep overnight at the domestic terminal departure hall.
I have checked the lounge at the domestic terminal departure hall closes at ard 0000hrs and opens at 0400hrs.

Before my 0545hrs flt, can I seek suggestion on where can I rest safely within the terminal? Thanks!

domestic terminal has no place for u to rest.
best bet is goto the international terminal and goto the well wishes gallery there to rest.

ya have grab. but cars abit few, faster way is to grab bike.

Don’t plan the timing so tight.
Always factor 30mins for flight delays
And then another 1hour for The hcmc AirPort immigration cuz sometimes siao siao de.
It can be super crowded causing you to wait like 1 hour.

For domestic terminal, if you wish to sleep over, prepare some water and snacks cuz the cafes and airport lounges inside close around 11pm or latest 12midnight

I don’t remember any sleeping lounge. Just find a good stretch of seats and lay flat and sleep.
make sure all your important items, gold, money jewellery passport are locked and secured

around 4:30am some cafes and the airport lounge will be opened.

Check with the expert here . If I were to grabcar from hcm airport to D1 where will I need to exit to wait?
And too do I need to pay the airport sir-change in cash to the grab driver ? Or it already included in the grab amount pay by grab wallet

after u come out from the airport, walk straight out to the carpark. there is a big tent there with grab people around it.
u have to wait there.
if u dont have the surchage , the grab driver will key into the app and u pay via grab pay or whatever means u have with grab.
usually the honest drivers will not charge the surcharge since grab shows the total amount
