I read from some travel book tat this is the original and real sinhcafe. Can anyone verify? Coz there are many sinhcafe websites. just a slight difference in the sequence of the url.

If this website is indeed the real one, I'm interested in some of the overnight tours. I want to book early coz unlike day tour, they need to book accommodation for us plus, the period i'm going, late apr, seems to be their holiday. When i email to enquire, they requested for advance bank transfer. Izzit safe? Will i incur any bank charges if i transfer from banks in singapore to their banks?

Benh Thanh Market is closed after 6pm but the surrounding aread outside the market is converted into make shift food outlets and night market.

for S$100 per room nite? Elios, Vien Dong.. 3 star and breand new renovated and walking distance to the market, u can find sandals and shopping bags all in benh thanh market, just make sure you bargain hard

Yup. I'm aware. That's why I'm rather unwilling to transfer.. plus the risk of the tour agency not admitting the receipt of the transfer. But think the tour agent won't book our rooms if we dun pay up. For those 3D2N i mean. Haiz.

Hi all, is hcm good for shopping? coz deciding going to hcm or bkk.

Quite a good loc for shopping. Find it cheaper than Thailand (personal opinion). Can find lots of branded sports T-shirts and shirts. Lots of shoes and bags such as backpacks, messenger bags, from those famous brands. Ard Ben Thanh market after 6 will have a lot of pasar malam stalls selling all those items. Of course must bargain to get good price!

Actually the night market in benh thanh is not really as big as the one in 3/2 street in hcm...its cheaper in 3/2 street becuz it caters to more locals while ben thanh caters to tourists..

Imported luxury brand goods are cheaper in singapore and malaysia than in saigon, unless u are looking for some AAA products..

Yes, 3/2 street is the street name, and along this street, there is a small junction which leads to Cao Thang Street where the night markets are operating daily in the evening. you can see the rows of night market stalls just at the start of this cao thang street, can't miss it...
