Would like to take this chance and thank you so much for all your help and advice!
My trip to Vietnam was smooth and pleasant.

The hotel that you helped me book,(elios hotel) IS SPLENDID. (It is really worth every cent )

My friends and I had a very great time in vietnam. No bad encounters whatsoever... ! maybe just once, with the Cyclo men but other than that. shopping and food is good!

4 days there is just nice for us.. !

Some advice to those who are gg for the first time! my 2 cents worth..........

Traffic looks messy but actually the drivers are pretty considerate, as i notice they will slow down or give way when people are crossing

Taxis - The MAXI cabs (Mailihn) meter tend to go slower than the rest we sat.... Also
get a map from the hotel and follow closely which road the cab drivers are going ,so this way , they cant try to cheat at all

food - I love the italian pasta at Good Morning Vietnam!! . (prefer the branch at vungtau though) Cakes at Highland coffee is good!

Shopping - Shopping mainly only at Saigon square and Ben thanh night markets. All the fake branded stuff....

I wanted to get a bag in saigon square but didnt and so Now im totally regretting. badly
If anyone is kind enough and willing to help me get it , please let me know (i know chances are low but just trying my luck haha )

Hi Yar, How many twin rooms and how many double rooms would you like out of the 8rooms Total?

Standard rooms in Elios Hotel - All are double bed rooms with some rooms having no windows and some rooms with windows (subject to availability)

Twin rooms in Elios Hotel - All are Twin bed rooms with all rooms having windows.

Open tour is wherby you/your companions are doing a tour with other nationalities whom also opt for the same tour on that same day and sharing the same guide (English) and coach. Meals and Entrance tickets are self expenses and need to be paid by you/your companions on top of the coach and the guide fee as well. pick up/drop off is at the assigned place which is usually the agency where you book for the open tour.

Private tour is whereby you/your companions are assigned with your own private coach & guide and includes meal, tour entrance fees, pick up /drop off point is your hotel.

So it all depends on individuality.. some people are comfortable with open tour while some prefer private tour for added comfort.

Sapa 3D2N not include 01 nite in Train from Hanoi -> Sapa

It kicks in from early September for some hotels, while for others, it kicks in from October..

Hi, i am reaching Ho Chi Minh on Jetstar at 1700. However, i would like to catch another Jetstar flight e.g. 1740, 1830 to Hanoi e.g. 1950, 2040. And, then catch the night train in Hanoi to Lao Cai.

Please advise if this plan is feasible within 1 day. I' m worried that the flights may be delayed or there's traffice jam from Hanoi airport to train station (since it's a Sat).

In addition, may i know if there's any train tickets (preferably soft sleeper) to Sapa that can be purchased on the spot e.g. at train station?

hello, I'll have to revert to to Elios and see if Quadraple sharing is possible in Deluxe or Executive Deluxe. But it might help if you can give me an approximate date of cehck in and check out.
