for mui ne, dont every pay tours to red/white sand tour

is free, open for all..

after the main stretch of road with hostels/shops, just go deeper in, the white/red sand dune is at the roadside..

of course, there might be other sand dunes deeper in..

but i think after visiting the open to all, sand dune along the roadside, should be quite an experience already. no need to visit another dune, because it is more or less the same..

children will flock around you, with a plastic slide. Pay them about 10000 to 20000 vnd per slide. Basically, you just sit on the slide, the child will push you down the slope of the sand dune. you will slowly slide down.

I heard mui ne is one of the few places where the police are actually clamping down on tourist without a viet riding license. Initially wanted to rent a bike and roam around.

Fake as in many use the sinhcafe name, nw changed to sinhtourist name. Can always bk w/ hotel or go sinhtourist outlet direct.

you were lucky, some scrupulous rentals would rent you the bike knowing that you dont have a license and will proceed on calling a cop to trail you and stop you to squeeze cash outta you...
