best rates i got last week is 1sgd to 16k at a money changer at dong khoi area.

My plan on the first day is to walk around the places near the hotel , do lots of walking and photo shooting. (Free and easy) Haven't comfirm my plans for the other days though.

1st day i will do a bit of shopping lo...saigon square and ben thanh..
2nd day then i walk around the sightseeing places nearby like reunification palace, notre dame cathedral and post office...

the other days maybe will go chinatown ssrr and venture out for a day trip..

Ho Chi Minh City is friendly for the first-timer. It is more familiar, being closer to a Bangkok. It is livelier and even the streets have more streetlights. For this time of the year, it is probably not as wet and warmer too.

I am going HCMC next Mon for 2 weeks. spouse there for biz trip. free accom for me anwyay.

It's a last minutes decision, no planning yet. anyone can suggest good local tour to take in HCMC to nearer provinces?
