Jus walk towards ben thrang from PNL. its a 5 mins stroll and you would have gd rates.

Oh ya, dun bother to eat at their resturant, its ex (in viet standard) and sucky. Eating off the street is so much nicer.

Hi, you can try Hoang Hai Long hotel massage which is quite good. But be prepared when you give tips, they may ask for more but you must be tough on them. It applies for most massage places in HCMC. So far I have never experienced people asking for more tips in China, Thailand and Indonesia.

I just came back from a 4 days HCMC. Frankly, it was boring. The BT market- many shops are just selling identical stuff. Not much of varieties. People can be very rude esp those selling clothing and coffee beans.

Food - personally not very fantastic. But their coffee is indeed very nice.

My suggestion for all is to spend just 2 full days in HCMC. Anything more should go with taking up tours like Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tours. And Sinhtourist is the most popular tour company in Vietnam. You won't go wrong with this agency.

Just got back from Hanoi yesterday. Went to Sapa and Halong Bay. Both are incredible places to go and I would recommend it to anyone.

The French restaurants in Hanoi are awesome and pretty cheap. Cost me about $USD 28 with starter, main and desert.

Hi anyone tried touring sapa free & easy? How do we book trains for Lao cai to sapa?

I done that in May this year however i did not book in advance.

I purchased the ticket directly from Ga Ha Noi (Main train station in Hanoi) n depart Hanoi on the same day.

I purchased LC1 to & LC2 forth which is cheaper n is A/C soft sleeper as the duration is about 9hrs train ride...

Aft which took a mini van where the market rate is 50,000Dong for an hour ride frm Lao Cai to Sapa. From there i start to search for hostel to stay in

After breakfast, SIC transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels. Here you will have the opportunity to explore the amazing labyrinth of tunnels used by the guerrillas during the war. Return to Ho Chi Minh city and then have a half day city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City. Visit Ben Thanh market and Thien Hau Pagoda in the bustling Chinatown. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 03: Ho Chi Minh – My Tho Mekong River (B, L)
SIC tour with a full day trip to the watery world of the Mekong Delta, just a couple of hours by road from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City's streets.
