I bought the VQTV yesterday, however the quality of Netflix is terrible (worse than SD) compared with the same movie on my Apple TV (which played in HD perfectly fine). Is there a setting to enable HD or is it the VQTV problem?

So hows the speed?
How is the streaming of pptv and netflix.

I am tempted by the access to netflix and possible hulu.

As I don't watch any local programming.

My better half will probably watch pptv on our television in the living room.

How hard is to to configure the router that ViewqWest will provide.

As I would want to restrict some bandwidth for the tv so I can game while she is streaming pptv.

i would say i have very good experience streaming using pptv, on avg buffering at 1.5mbps

Can you contact our NOC? Might be something wrong with your connection - they'll help your troubleshoot and advise on steps to take

If you terminate early you'll have to pay the remaining monthly charges for however many months are left. For example, if you're on a 24 month contract, and you've been subscribed for 12 months, you pay 12 x your monthly subscription.

I'm currently on Viewquest, using the default zhone router/modem. I live in a two-storey terrace house and the zhone is located near the fiber optic wall port on the first storey.

Should I convert my spare Engenius 9850 into a wireless repeater to boost the signal on the second storey, or should I buy a new router (e.g. Asus) and bridge it to the zhone instead ?

As per your CS, it's a limitation of the Android client in the VQTV, whereas on the ATV it's native HD.

I did notice some intermittent delays this afternoon when surfing. Not massive delays lah.

And I was downloading a 600 MB file which took over half an hour. Of course it depends on where the file server is located, traffic and all that other ding dong, so may not necessarily be VQ's problem.

But as of now, all seems okay. Just did a Speedtest and all is normal.
