around 1k different. or hopefully within 2 yr they got new tech in better more eco friendly vinyl, more lasting, more durable and better design from the gap in between the vinyl

Take note.
For vinyl, you will need to do screeding.
Price for a 4rm can be about 1.8k for areas less toilets and kitchen.

i will get them to do a self leveling compound after the screeding

mine is 2 room, not more then $3.7 k ( after adding in inflation in End of 2022)

Wah 2022 now u start researching ah. So early.

if not i kena lie by them, i ask this company on vinyl on the chat (he claim he the so coowner), when i ask about spc aka rigid core. he told me that one not vinyl but google say it vinyl. he then say for spc if it the floor is uneven. i can feel the bumb. that is completely different from what the google said for spc

i also mention to him, you can do a self leveling compound after the screeding for the uneven.

he then counter me by saying that spc is noisy, i told him you can install extra IXPE layer to reduce the sound, he then say, this method can only reduce the sound, as if i dont know since i am the one who know IXPE.

i also contact about 8 vinyl company (exculding the one that often mention here) about safety certification (European certification like E1, ) on voc etc..... so far no one reply, those that reply tell me their have green label or ISO certification. but i am seeking only European certification

if i dont research, and a new bto have many thing to research, not just floor, but aircon, paint, kitchen cab, door, lock, mattress etc....... i already kena chop.

as the saying goes, knowledge is power

Can try jotterwood. I was considering between floorxpert, wood culture and jotterwood. Jotterwood order directly the price is okay Abt $6 to $6.50. The fact is I like their display at the showroom. When lay on the floor to see it’s very different. And it as tru a recommendation. They say Minton condo a lot of users use and loved it. Lasting and no smell. I’m installing mine next week or the week after. I also fell in love with their ceiling slat. Doing it can’t wait to see the completed works

i am current look at spc. spc flooring aka rigid core vinyl flooring

SPC, which stands for Stone Plastic (or Polymer) Composite, features a core that is typically comprised of around 60% calcium carbonate (limestone), polyvinyl chloride and plasticizers

SPC flooring is hard to find in SG, even if they do have, they dont really talk about the layer, detail etc.....

here the detail that spc flooring should have and what i looking for in spc flooring:

Three layers ( ABA core): PVC vinyl board + SPC core floor + PVC
100% Formaldehyde and PCP Free because it does not use any type of glue instead it use heat to combine the layer
Fire Resistant certified Bf1-S1
environmentally friendly in line with EN14372, EN649-2011, IEC62321, GB4085-83 standards.
thickest Rigid Core i can find
thickest wear layer i can find (perfer Enhanced urethane wear layer with additional aluminum oxide coating)
UV coating
but how does SPC compare to others leike LURF which is heavily advertised as well? then what about Inovar? my id ask us to use this
