LOL. How thick are the tiles? if you grow taller by 0.5cm, will living in a HDB be worse for you?Hope you are okay with reduction in floor to ceiling height. HDB ceiling is already very low. You will make it worse by overlaying tiles.

ignore the costs....tiles are too troublesome to replace.
recent weather is cold as 22... a lot of old tiles popping.
Also curious abt this. My ID (TIL) recommended LURF LOC range, and no need to further upgrade to LUX or their other ranges. Downside is only 10 types to choose from. What's the market rate for LURF these days? ID quoted me $8+ psf inclusive of skirting. Is that too much?
i got quoted $7.50 about 3-4 mths ago. LOC range very limited choices and as usual - anything nicer/better need to top up moreAlso curious abt this. My ID (TIL) recommended LURF LOC range, and no need to further upgrade to LUX or their other ranges. Downside is only 10 types to choose from.
Anyone know what’s the ongoing market rate? Thx in adv

i did not. we ended up choosing xingfloor mainly due to their color suited our theme better, can't give any feedback yet as still have not moved in.Thanks. I just tabulated, I think my ID provided quote is also SGD7.5 psf. for LOC range. Did not ask for quote to top up as ID said LOC range already ex/good enough. But the more ex ones do indeed look/feel nicer to me (at least the samples).
@boombastick91 did you use LOC in the end? Saw on other vinyl thread that you were asking a few months back and choosing btw this or xingfloors? Any feedback?
if it was flat enough for the linoleum, it is flat enough for vinyl.![]()

Hi Guys...after removing my current flooring..yall reckon it's level enough to directly lay vinyl tiles over?
TYIA!!!
no texture? wouldn't scratches (inevitable, as vinyl is basically a form of plastic) be very noticeable?anyone use Floor atelier before? is their vinyl good?
i check that theirs is smooth and texture-less
when i see evorich vinyl, they have texture.
Hi there,Not as slippery as compared to HDB tiles. Check out Foriegn Unique Marketing.
My vinyl done by them, in fact the installers are installing now.
Not related or working for them. But must say their service is good. Personally attended by the boss himself, he also personally dropped by to do on site measurement. Nice, humble and hands-on Uncle.
No fancy showroom or whatsoever, if you want to see samples, need to pop by their warehouse cum office in Loyang.
No need to ask for his recommendations on colours and designs, his standard answers will be “I also dun know what you like”. Haha
