Aiyah spend so much liao lut first, enjoy, worry FC later.
Not advisable to go on lowering springs. You're not in control of your ride height and will be scrapping the humps or roads at some places.
I'm on coilovers, front strut and rear anti-roll bar. Some comfort is definitely lost, but have gotten used to this.
If you want better handling with comfort, coilover is way better than just springs. Coilover you can adjust damping and height, with springs it's just fixed height by forcing your absorber to be unable to extend fully which naturally kills it earlier, though I have friends who swear by their absorbers still alive after using lowering springs.I lot people ask me go for coilover, but I need comfort with better handling. So coilover is totally out of picture.
Any recommendation on sport absorber ... like KYB SR special or just normal KYB OE quality with Triple S spring ?

As per andyhtc, NCP93 was a good work horse for me while it lasted before I sold it at 109K mileage. 7 years in, the a/c compressor died, apart from that, the car was good and minimal issues.Hello everyone,
Would like to ask for advice. Am looking at buying a NCP93 that has 2-3 years left.
Any common major issue for this model at this age and any recommended workshop that I can bring the car to for inspection before purchase?
I understand that coe cars confirm need to repair here and there. but wanna avoid any major repairs
Thanks in advance!
Left & right shaft drive. Lower arms, suspension, engine mounting. Flush coolant and also change brake oil. Check engine oil and Transmission drive for leaks.Hello everyone,

The only issues I had were due to me making mods on the car which required further upkeep and some repairs.
Else, stock is really best for this car.
I don't really think need to bother much, at 7 years, just find a recon unit and continue using lor. Jap cars are pretty easy to maintain, no lack of parts, no need to worry. My compressor also died after 7 years. My conclusion is to service the compressor every 5 years or around 100k km, which ever comes first. My NCP93 is still with me today and I hope to keep it until it is 20 years old![]()

in a few months, I hope to be seriously looking for a COE car with 2-3 years left.
Tip. Early 2019 vehicles are renewed at the lower PQP range, probably you might clinch a better deal with direct owners if you managed source for one.
If the vehicle goes to dealer, definitely it would be marked up few Ks. Moreover, dealers usually pay paper value + few hundreds only for COE cars.
Coldness largely depends on the a/c gas level in the car.Woah my compressor lasted 10 years and still alive. Thinking to change, does the coldness level deteriorates over time due to aging compressor?
Changing to Mercedes?in a few months, I hope to be seriously looking for a COE car with 2-3 years left.
i am looking at renewed COE but run down till left 2 or 3 years
just need a to and fro car as second car

Plus heat dissipation efficency of the condenser and fan. All works hand in hand.
