Australia Immigration are having intermittent line problem with the computer system.

Please print out the Australia Visa confirmation slip in case they couldnt find your ETA during check-in!!!!

Usually I save visa confirmation screen shot in hp. Will the immi officers accept?

Nowadays Aust airport no longer chop passport upon departure. On arrivals, if we use self-check, also no chop. In case we need proof of our own entry and departure, (eg gov office, for details which I shall not go into), is there any office where can we get this info officially?

You have to pass thru check-in staff 1st.
ONLY those passenger with VISA, then they will issue boarding pass.

Whether VISA is inside email/handphone, as long as you can show it to the Check-in staff you have applied for the VISA, they will call the 24hrs Australia Immigration for help/advice

Does the local (SG) airline check in staff check the validity of the visa? It will be pretty crap to fly all the way there and told the visa is not valid by Aussie authorities.

They may be FINE by Australia for not checking the VISA.

Woah, easy there. My apologies if my post was misleading. I was referring to your post where the Aussie authorities have some prob with their system, and it would be quite a shock if anyone got there without a visa sighted in their system.

You've been the most helpful to all of us. me included. No malice on my part. My bad if I came across wrongly.

Bro, my post not targeting at anyone, just that this issue had been troubling us for the past 2 weeks,

And u know la, anything with immigration issue, u will never get a fix answer from the authority.

I am amazed by Ms Kang's efficiency.

I sent her the details at 230am and she got it approved by 251am. Yes, 2+am. In the wee hours.
