Additional $10, making it a $20 <$19.90> plan per month for 5G comparing to just a $10 per month for 4G plan...

Ask yourself carefully. Do you really need 5G for your mobile usages in Singapore?

Of coz. For the rich likes (not me), no issue for that extra $10. However, for the ordinary folks. Think again if it is worth your money anyhow spend.. ! :)
The addon for that 5g, if i aint wrong, is just $7, right? if yes.. then really no point for vibe 5g

$7 is for Binge, where the base price is much much higher than $10. They don't even allow the Plus plans to be upgraded with the $7 5G add-on.

That's right!

Only the Binge plan is entitled to purchase the $7 5G addon. Plus plan cannot purchase that.

So, the 5G VOBE plan at #19.90 is still the cheapest 5G plan!

TBH, I wasn't impressed with Vivifi 4G quality when I just switched over from MyRepublic. With 5G it's different story. Somehow I have better coverage with 5G too. Not sure how.

Your myrepublic is for 4G or 5G. Iirc their 4G is m1 network, hard to believe vivifi singtel 4G is doing worst than m1 network.

When I was with them it's 4G plan on M1 Haha YMMV that's all I have to say la. M1 4G vs Starhub 4G, M1 is better for me. May not be the fastest but I experience less packet loss on M1 with more responsive network until one day it just suddenly went bad. Then I switched to Vivifi Binge, not getting super impressed with the 4G Vivifi then coincidentally gmail drained my data on the 3rd day of porting in and I decided to pay $7 for the 5G Boost to get 10GB data. The experience has improved since. I have better coverage in some area than 4G.

I guess my experience on the network being worse on MyRepublic is due to them going with Starhub for their 5G plans. Just my guess as the MyRepublic 5G announcement came 2-3 weeks after I decided to port over to Vivifi.

for some reasons i still think that Myrepublic 5g> vivifi 5g, just that i donthave any phones supports 5G SA so...

not sure if I should really convert my $10 to $19.90

I can understand those who have been running on 5G.

It is just likes you have been driving at 220km/h and now asking you to drive at just 80km/p to reach your destination with a difference of just 5 minutes.

You don't feel shiok. 😷
myrepublic starhub 5g is not good i was using 2 months
Guess it is 5G SA. Not many places are covered by SA yet?

NSA is otherwise.

If I already have a line for Vivifi which is under my name and used by my father and registered to my email, if I want another line on $10 vibe to port in my own number, can I register under the same account/email ?

Because I only have one email account.
