Iphone so under capabilities shows SA+NSA. whereas my M1 line shows SA only
Can share some screenshots so other ST users know what to look for in the future? We're all eagerly awaiting SA.
If you have photos of the new 5G sim card even better.

Lol I have the new 5g sim card. Why you want to see? It's just a normal sim card that says 5g on it nothing elseCan share some screenshots so other ST users know what to look for in the future? We're all eagerly awaiting SA.

I guess he wants to see the 5G logo on the sim cardLol I have the new 5g sim card. Why you want to see? It's just a normal sim card that says 5g on it nothing else
I am not so worried. Still 5G on my phone and it’s showing up on the capabilities section as SA+NSA. I believe this is just something marketing to make sure all the MVNOs sing the same tune with their MNO.Ok, means the sim & phone is ready for both 5G SA & NSA.
But is the connection actually 5G SA ?
Asking as it seems that all 3 ST MVNO seems to imply that 5G+(5G SA) is not yet ready on their end and Zero1/Zym appears to be still giving out 4G sims for 5G plans.
Alamak.. share which screenshot? The one showing SA+NSA? Are you on iPhone? Can share some screenshots so other ST users know what to look for in the future? We're all eagerly awaiting SA.

Ok, then how do you know it on an iPhone that it is indeed connected to 5G SA?The iphone setting is confusing. Being able to select and enable 5G standalone does not mean that you are using it.
Ok, so I downloaded nperf app and test on all my lines.
ST priority - SA (sometimes switches to NSA)
Vivifi - NSA (doesn't detect SA at all)
M1 - SA
CL - SA (sometimes switches to NSA)
Z1 - NSA (doesn't detect SA at all)
Thanks. That confirms my suspicion, Vivifi is issuing 5G sim cards but 5G SA is not yet operational, while Z1/Zym appears to be issuing 4G sim cards.Ok, so I downloaded nperf app and test on all my lines.

yup, still works in progress for ST MVNOs to move to SA, while M1/MVNOs are true 5G.Thanks. That confirms my suspicion, Vivifi is issuing 5G sim cards but 5G SA is not yet operational, while Z1/Zym appears to be issuing 4G sim cards.
Vivifi vs Zero1 which is better? Or roughly the same?Ok, so I downloaded nperf app and test on all my lines.

Quite similar, the following are the difference i am aware of :Vivifi vs Zero1 which is better? Or roughly the same?
The network is more or less the same since under the ST umbrella.Vivifi vs Zero1 which is better? Or roughly the same?
If you mean network coverage, no diff. The network is more or less the same since under the ST umbrella.
same iterationsIf you mean network coverage, no diff.
M1 will hook to SA all the time, from my experience. Same with StarHub since both are using AntinaOk, so I downloaded nperf app and test on all my lines.

Which is good, in some cases, it falls to 4G but so far hasn't seen NSA.M1 will hook to SA all the time, from my experience. Same with StarHub since both are using Antina
Oh ya. Occasionally falls to 4G, but that is very rare so far based on my experience.Which is good, in some cases, it falls to 4G but so far hasn't seen NSA.
yes, I agree, the latching to SA has been stable in most cases nowadays. The time when I saw 4G was trying to compare prices in supermarkets.Oh ya. Occasionally falls to 4G, but that is very rare so far based on my experience.
