I try to make a best guess

23 Jun or before - no bill generated yet, telco may block portout on grounds of outstanding bill not settled
24 Jun - generate bill (which is dated 1 Jun)
25 Jun - charge to credit card, update to “paid status”
26 Jun, 27 Jun, 28 Jun - the 3 “safe to port out dates”
29 Jun onwards - may risk incurring next mth charges? (Can check if the rules states port out at least 1 day before end of the month, but this is hard to understand as portout happens 11pm to 3/4 am)

there are other telcos that bills on 1st day of mth (invoice generated) & deduct on 8th or 15th day. This gives 2 weeks of time to portout comfortably before hitting next mth.

sometimes when all conditions set by donor telco are met (min 2 mth stay, paid all bills), there are other small details which may jeopardise successful portout within the 3 day window (26-28 Jun).

portout itself not hard but i think a bit tricky with this telco. Same logic as avoiding to stay in a hotel without a clear & easy to understand escape plan. Well, diff is wun die but just pay another mth extra aft portout
Thanks. Appreciate the reply!

Cheers~ :)

Huh really ar? So mafan?

By the way, what are the 3 dates that are only available?

I was just thinking about switching over to a Shared 180GB plan for my 7 existing Vivifi Plus plans today. Hhmm... Maybe I should think more carefully if I ever decide to downgrade my main line or if I were to port it out to another telco, and what would happen to the rest of the lines under the Share Plan.

May I know if those existing lines will still get to keep their log-in credentials after being brought under the Shared Plan umbrella, or will the main line be the only one to check or add boosters for those numbers?

I recalled seeing the dates as 7,15,21. It's listed in the website.
The login will be the main line email address.
Each sub line will cost $6+, on top of the share plan.. for me, not so worth cause i only have 1 sub line and signing a cheap plan is more worth. But i want to claim from company under the same bill that's why i signed.
Anyway, I've ported out both my lines to giga and redONE. Want to try out starhub network. Managed to complete it within the last 2 days of the month without being charged for July.

I actually signed up for the $18/50GB plan instead of the $11 plan.

Got 6 months 1GB data each for Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. That is like $4 per GB.

ZYM lowered the rated to $2.50/GB afaik.

If you don't need that much data, could have went for 2 network setup, $11 VIVIFI + $5 SIMBA (Senior).

Cheaper but have more roaming data per month, as long as you're accepting the flaws of Smartfren in Indonesia.
(DTAC and MY CELCOM should be decent enough)

Thanks for sharing.

Below is actually my setup:

Phone 1: TPG/M1Maxx/XoXOne
Phone 2: Starhub/XoXone

couple of days ago changed to

Phone 1: TPG/red/XoXOne
Phone 2: Starhub/XoXone

now

Phone 1: Vivifi/redOne/XoXone
Phone 2: Starhub/XoXone

The redOne sim is actually on my tablet for some work purposes, may or may not be a permanent feature on my tablet. But still like to try out on my phone to test the roaming speed in JB.

ZYM $2.50/GB is only 7 days. I prefer redOne redconnect MY which is $4/GB but last 30 days. But my redOne is $8/5GB is enough.

Does vivifi have those 6.6 7.7 promotions? Thinking of getting the $9 or $11 plan and coming from gomo.
Also, how long does it take to port your number over to vivifi?

Nope. You will need a valid email to register with them. Porting usually done between 11pm to 4am on weekdays

Their promotions kinda random, got to subscribe to their social feeds or check back here often.
