I am now looking for a sim card wifi router for my warehouse.

It seems that most are on 4G. The 5G ones cost like 5x more.

For my mobile phone, I am on a vivifi old plan.
It seems that Vivifi has this culture of not allowing people to switch plan or enjoy new perks.
You have to port out then port back in to enjoy any
Yes, 5G ones are substantially more expensive. If it is at a fixed location, why not consider a proper Wifi setup instead of relying on mobile 4G/5G? Considering most warehouses can have quite thick walls, mobile signals insides are usually degraded or slow.

2nd point is not unique to Vivifi, every MVNOs is the same, heck, Zym even disallows perks if you were their customers within the last 12 months.

The commercial broadband plans are like $100/mth.

It's just for a warehouse to connect to my CCTV.
The set up is fine, except that TPG is horrrible for this purpose, the vivifi seems better and at $7.70, i think I don't have any better choices.

Actually I'm thinking of whether to jump out to Starhub for a few months then jump back to Vivifi or something.
Not sure how long i need to jump out of there's some funny rules that bar this practise though.

Why not consider circles life $3 100GB 4G plan, yesterday it was launched, but quickly taken down, but still can apply using promo code. Look for circles life thread

For your use case, i don't think its even worth to use 5G.
There should probably be at least 1 telco that has properly coverage of your warehouse unless yours is in a near deadzone. If singtel 4G works, then stick with singtel.

Why not?
If you are afraid that VIVIFI has some sort of rules to obtain those special offers, then check with them first.
If not, why only VIVIFI? Zero1, ZYM, GOMO, CMLINK are also using singtel.
You can also jump to them if the offer or cost is right.

From vivifi T&C, it's only considered port in if you port in from other network like Starhub/M1 and their network partners.

So i believe it might be the same for the rest, if i port to the other Singtel affiliated partners, there might be no perks.

I used circles life in the past, and the network was horrible.

But i moved my warehouse, not sure if it is any better.

In my new warehouse my Singtel go down 20+ mb, up ard 3-6.
TPG was struggingling at 1mb.

Abit troublesome to test, need to take out the sim card and run the speedtest website

Sounds like ST is your best bet if you have tested, no harm trying 1 more.

funny though, why be afraid if you ultimately want to achieve the numbers

probably, they have counted the numbers, and it is not worth afterall, the 9 months they will lose lots of revenue.

$15 x9 = $135/line revenue lost for 9 whole months. say if 1,000 customers use this promo, it's $135,000 revenue lost. Then they wouldn't have much for their year-end bonus or CNY Hong Pao.

Doesn't make sense for them to only figure it out now if the promo has been running the same for months.

Having the risk those low-cost budget lines would deteriorate in quality after sometimes especially 4g I guess. It's good to keep as spare line though

Technically we can still sign up for Vivifi on 13/14 and only activate later closer to month end to enjoy the 9-mth port-in offer from CL right?
I believe so. They based it on sign up date.

Customers who sign up for a new VIVIFI Roam Asia Super plan from 4 July 2025 to 14 September 2025 with port in from another telco except Singtel, Heya, Gomo, Zym, Zero1 and CMLink within 30 days of signing up may qualify for a subscription fee waiver.

For those applying for VIVIFI, I would like to share my recent experience with VIVIFI.

I have been their customer for the past 4 years. Most of the time, their services are good. But i want to point out the following.

1) Their customer service is almost nonexistence. I emailed to their billing team 2 weeks ago and recevied no reply from them. I was charged $6 more than the usual and i wanted to find out why there is $6 more.

2. Their billing invoice is not straightforward. You will see your overdue is $900+ (my case) although its $0 in their system. The error has been there for past 2 years+ and not fixed until now.

3. I wanted to port my numbers to Zero1 and porting got rejected 2x due to MISMATCH ID. Both accounts are under my name and ID. Again, no reply from them until i have to call IMDA for assistance today.

4. Their FB comments are highly censored. Negative comments are deleted/hidden.

So summary is, when there's nothing wrong, they are good. When there's something wrong, that is when you get the headache.

Best customer service. my ass.
