Timely software update support will be questionable since global variant only released India and Indonesia ...

Firstly this model is top tier flagship.
It’s Samsung.
Is costly.

Normal person won’t buy a exp Samsung phone and change to another brand (except iPhone)

Just wanna ask a few qns for those with XF3P (also those with XF3):
1. Any notifications issues (some users mentioned they faced issues, while some don't)
2. Any issues with the common bank apps (DBS & OCBC)
3. Roughly how much you paid ($1.85k best price?)
4. What's the main complaint you faced due to it being Vivo or the China ROM

Already placed order at Shopee. Actually want to import direct from China (save S$200) but afraid of Sim Lock.

Once get my phone will test and let u know.

Can someone confirm that XF3 can tap for Paywave, MRT and bus?

1)No issues. All notifications received promptly.
2)I use UOB and Google Wallet, no issue.
3)That depends on you. I paid SGD2.3K for 512GB Pro.
4)On China Rom, I don't see any to complain about.

Agreed. As long as all permissions allowed, there won't be any notifications delayed issue. In fact battery life still super solid despite all functions are being turned on...that's include location and 5G being turned at at all times.

I have the XF3 and been using it coming to 2 months now. Here's what I faced:

1. Yes there are issues but not a deal breaker for me. Messages are ALWAYS received on Whatsapp and Telegram. In maybe 2 out of 10 times there will be no notifications i.e. no visual or audible tipoff. But if you turn on the phone, you can see that the message is received in the corresponding app. For the record, this happened in my previous XF2 as well.

2. No issues with banking apps or Singpass. Can scan to pay, etc. As for NFC payment, not tried so can't comment.

3. Can't comment as well. The XF3 was a replacement phone for my XF2 which screwed up during the warranty period. Vivo China not able to repair it so they replaced my XF2 with the XF3 to honour warranty.

4. China ROM indeed has problems when it comes to notifications despite all the relevant parameters being enabled. If that is not an issue then it shouldn't be a problem for the user as it is still usable since we are able to install Playstore separately. On the part about Vivo, I have no complaints since they do honour their warranty, even if it's a China ROM set, except that the repairs can't be done locally.

My 2 cents worth.

Thanks for sharing!

Could you share more about Vivo honouring their warranty? Do you meant that we can approach Vivo SG for repairs, at a fee I assume, but takes a longer time to send it to & fro China? Thanks!
