I can downgrade size, only issue is it too big, and the price is pretty premium for a China brand phone.

ha ha for me after using z ultra for 5 or 6 month, any phone i using now is consider small phone for me:s13::s13:. As for the price i must agree this is really no joke for a china brand phone, but take a look at the part that they use cpu, ram, screen, audio chip all are top grade one and the build quality of the phone so good even compare to those big name also won't lose out.

ya warranty is 1 big issue when buying this kind of phone. Only the center part/frame of the phone is aluminium or metal, the back is matt type of plastic.

this is 1 of the comments u will hear from ur friends when u show off to friends, "wa.. u pay so much for a china phone?"

sg here, not 1 cares about specs, all care about brands and even resale value.

i tot the standard reply will be "will explode or not?":s13:

yes, SG is very brand and country concious. If Vivo is a china company based in say Japan and produce to Japan market... the story will be different

even if u show ur phone better in terms of colour, design, sound, screen, cam, etc... than wat they have, they lose they will still say "i wun buy a china phone'

I feel if a person buys a high end phone from a Chinese brand shouldn't even be thinking of resale value. I got the Vivo Xplay 3S because I wanted something different. I get a phone because I want it and not because what my friends will say or think, honestly, what others think doesn't bother me. The Vivo Xplay 3S has good specs and is very well made. Anyone who owns one will not regret it. The ironical thing about people saying " It's a China made phone " should also know that many of the phones by the top brands are also made in China. Then those haters will say " Oh but Samsunk and iFruit has high QC " I would always think to myself " Really? " Have you seen how many of these top brand phones being sent back to their service centres? Every brand known or not very known will have it's pros and cons. As most things are now made in China, you get what you pay for. A cheap China made phone will have cheap quality while an expensive China made phone will have better quality. Similar to top brand phones, the high end models are way better built than the lower end models. If you want to try something well made and be different. Go for the Vivo Xplay 3S. I do agree to a certain extend that when buying obscure brands, when it needs servicing, it's not very convenient. Sometimes it's all about luck too, I've had some cheap phones that is still working perfectly after all these years. As ants0614 stated, once you've used the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, every other phone feels normal. Hahahaha... :D

you means the audio quality or the earphone x600? For the audio quality i think this is one of the best for h/p, but of course is based on personal preference, i bought the phone not b'cos of the 2k screen,is because the audio quality they advertise, and it did not disappoint me.

Hi, any current users know how to:

1) change the weather data when on lock screen mode? Seems to be using the default weather app

2) track data usage without downloading another app? For e.g Samsung or iphone has it under settings/general

I have this phone for about a week now and so far it has not disappointed. Screen is super sharp, smooth and like some users said, the audio quality is superb if you are watching movies or hearing music. I initially thought that 6 inch screen would be too big for me but am used to it now.
