lol he cannot tahan liao, selling his car and taking a rental car

ownself drive OK if u part time and have own business... full time better go rent

altis and vios best liao, especially if u low user, less than 300km a day type.... can consider this

yup, one using shuttle, another using forester

both complain of high wear and tear

I calculated I save $3k/yr renting than buying car. Servicing, tyre change and lastly insurance is the killer. Rental price is inclusive of all these.

rental car suka suka can change if no contract.... pax bang door also never mind

i used to tell my pax, taxi not mine... u bang not my problem

last time really worth to rent as have a lot of incentives

i have friends doing both methods, rent and own cars

most say prefer to rent, these ppl know rhe best.... hahahahaha

alot of ppl thinking they earning great pay, but income ceiling is as low as can buy ec.
can buy ec means you are a poor guy that need gov subsidize
sg salary content, no 500k a year, dont consider your self high

rent car, other than pay rent, parking, erp and petrol, all other costs is taken care by renter?

yup, maintenance, inspection, tires, repairs all taken care by company

if can find something below 50, tomorrow can go sign one out... lol

agree, in sg u need to be either in the high income bracket or just be a poor peasant

in between is pathetic, why? cos u aren't earning very high income but u aren't earning low enough for subsidies

now can find 7k plus depreciation meh? i was just looking at some used cars..... around 10k leh

some more include wear and tear items

Ya la 7 year old car dep alr $9.5k. Insorlent another $5k, for me at least. Above 2 alr almost $15k. road tax, car inspection, servicing, tyre change, repairs, bank interest all haven add in. You do the math see rent or buy better.

Mercedes. Most reliable mass market brand of the lot. Large user base means easy service and spares. Don't buy brand new. 2-3 year old. Let someone else eat the depreciation.
