Yeah one of the biggest issues I have is with the constant redrawing of electoral boundaries. It hardly happens in other democracies and I don't see why it should happen here.

My issue with treeskull is that there's no issue with the actual voting or counting process itself.

Counting of votes is done in the presence of all candidates. All discrepancies regarding votes is resolved in their presence as well. The counting officer do not get to suka suka say where the votes go to.

Actually another issue I have is with spoil votes... it should not be hard to have better way of voting instead of spoiling votes as everyone will have different interpretation of how a vote can be spoilt.... like small cross etc... and spoil vote mattered ib Potong Pasir during last election....

Yah I agree, vote-voiding can have real consequences but at the same time I don't think other voting systems like preference voting systems will work in Singapore's context.

You are right that there can be different interpretations of spoilt votes. This is where the officers there in the presence of all the candidates have to make a judgement call.

From what I know, any visible form of marking entirely within a box is considered a vote to that party. The size and its content is irrelevant.

Hence, the surest way I know of to void a vote is to make visible markings on two boxes.
