Vpost had gotten from bad to worse.

I had use them for the past yrs and it start to get things screwed up.

Jus recently, they tag my items to other ppl ID, when i try to ask them how to retrieve back. they jus keep kicking the ball around. WHen those FT ppl talking rubbish English, they cant give me answer.

They will push to their supervisor which i will wait for 30mins on the line and eventually gave up.

VPOST think that I am so free to keep waiting. for it.

Will go to CASE and complain of their losuy service and attuitde...

cgw cs doesn't solve your problem, just go merry round and comes back with answer from website and yet took days to get their reply.

CGW/BL are only the ones to consider. Vpost sucks duck eggs..

I would even go as far as to say all 3 suck.

vPost - slow and customer service is almost non-existent.
CGW - can be slow with updating and the AWB takes ages to generate.
Borderlinx - has the tendency to "miscalculate" the volumetric weight of your package.

Just a heads-up to everybody,

I underdeclared some of my packages at comGateway. They sent me an email telling me my shipment is delayed due to discrepancy in value and requested a merchant invoice email from me. When I LiveChatted them about this, they say the values I declared are "below market prices". I asked why do they care; they say it won't be able to clear US customs if value is underdeclared (a load of bull :s8:).

This is the first instance I've heard of CGW blocking somebody's shipment. Disappointed by it, I may have to consolidate into separate shipments to avoid GST or just see what I can do about it. My shipment has basically been in limbo at CGW for a month due to a variety of issues I've had with them. They're not the most flexible company around.

You should not under declare in the first place. When they shipped item internationally, they need to fill an official form declaring what the item description and value they're shipping.

You can't ask them to fill incorrect information on purpose. This might land them into a legal trouble.

That's fine and dandy to say but I'm just giving info for others who might exceed just into the GST zone and want to save a little dough. I don't claim to be righteous about this, just being helpful.

this might not be the right thread to ask but definitely the best place thread to ask.

Anyone can share CGW discount code/promo code?

Desperately in need of it to cut down on my $80 air freight charges whereby item only cost $170

CGW generally doesn't offer discount code unlike Borderlinx and vPost.

Bought 4 items (timbuk messengers/2 screen protectors and casing) from amazon and nook touch from B&N xD

Damn amazon packed and delivered all 4 items in 4 different boxes. One screen protectors has a volumetric weight of 2.5KG ....... the other screen protector only 0.5KG.
Bag - 6.5kg ( CGW repacked it to 2.5kg after request)
Nook touch - 1KG

Made a feedback to amazon packing department on the RETARDED packing on the screen protector. Hopefully after i post the photo, amazon gives me some gift card x(

yeah, amazon have tendency to ship items on different box. This does not make any difference for their US customers, but for us, it is hell lots of differences.
Every single box is oversize in which you can find lots of empty space inside the box.
Hopefully they can introduce feature like shipping in less boxes as possible.

That's normal for Amazon. That's why it's always like a lottery when you purchased from them to be delivered to the forwarder. Whenever possible, do opt for direct shipping to SG.

Amazon does give credits to their disgruntled customers every now and then, so who knows, you might just get it. :D

Let's not abuse this. They might start tightening control for overseas customer who post to cgw/blinx/vpost which is not good for us all.

Hi, first time ordering from cgw here... Any idea how the process works? Will they deliver straight to your house? If no one is there to receive the delivery, is there a place I can collect it like SingPost?

Thanks!

when CGW has shipped that package, track the progress on DHL's website, and when it has reached Singapore, call 62858888 (DHL) to schedule a delivery time that is to your convenience.
