[HELP] Amazon shipped to my US Borderlinx address on Saturday

2/08/2014 - Saturday
1:05 pm
Delivery exception

DAYTON, OH

Customer not available or business closed - Please contact local Post Office to pick up or reschedule delivery

first time using a forwarder.
see my Borderlinx account theres no goods awaiting shipping. Borderlinx warehouse not operating on Saturdays?

I have emailed BL and they replied telling me to ask Amazon to send the shipment bet mon-fri.

hmm so will they call amazon/fed-ex to reschedule the delivery?

Normally redelivery is automated. I encountered the same issue a few times before. They will attempt delivery on the next business day without having to call them.

Hmm, I've been using vpost for quite some years, bought many stuff from the US and shipped by vPostUSA, bought a couple of items from Japan by vPostJAPAN too, so far other than a few delays in shipment, all items arrived w/o any problem.

I used BL too, their service is great, fast and reliable. But their price isn't great, and they always open up boxes to check their contents, which I don't really like. I prefer using vPost for their cheaper fees and no-question-asked self declaration ;). Might change if I have bad experience w/ them.

Comgateway any comment regarding the rumor leak of credit/debit card information that lead to unauthorized transactions from neweb technology Taiwan?

Most people have their card information store in yr server before they are hack

They did not admit but it is very sure that credit cards info were stolen from CGW.

Be careful when you use CGW. Better do not save card info at the website.

If you use HSG, it's CGW with a 10% discount. And because you must pay with PayPal, CGW doesn't have your CC info.

I read the news about the Taiwan unauthorised transaction but never heard that the info is obtained from CGW. Any info about it?

Whether CGW admits or not, CC info is somehow stolen and DBS has issued a new card to my colleague who sits next to me. I immediately checked my Bank account today morning as I introduced him to CGW and fortunately did not see any fraudulent transaction from neweb in my account. I will keep a close look. DBS bank has done a pretty good job.

Update on CGW

Hi All, would like to provide this info as to thank CGW on their additional support.

Firstly, I was buying the Nexus 7 2013, from Amazon and using WorldWide Distributors, and alas, they shipped me the old version. I was very upset. Well, they are very kind, either pay me back the different to my credit card, or to have me to ship back the 'wrong' unit back to them at my cost.

Anyway, it is a mistake to deal with them, I should have read more reviews. I opted the difference in refund. (yet to see if it my cc has received the refund)....

As the Nexus 7 2013 is a gift to someone, as per promised, I bought a new unit from Amazon, which sold and shipped by Amazon. This time, when CGW received the goods, I ask their help to take a picture before they ship to me to ensure I don't want to repeat this mistake.

CGW took the picture and sent me,
I confirmed the unit, and I got what I want.

So far, happy using CGW. I am sure others might be doing the same thing, but this is just an appreciation on additional effort.

thank you.

Thankfully I now move away from vpost. They are awfully slow and have crap customer service. Sticking to comgateway

Why would you ship a Nexus 7 2013 from Amazon through CGW? It qualifies for free global shipping, and Amazon will ship it to your address in Singapore for free. :s22:

Got my parcel this evening (sun). Considering comgateway received it wed afternoon took a day to process and shipped out thu, it's pretty fast. Impressive for express delivery that was promised 3-5 business days

Why did I even waste money using vpost previously

Seems like CGW switched to Fedex from DHL...there's even an instruction mentioning weekday delivery only :(

My latest shipment that just went out this morning used Fedex instead of DHL. Fedex page specifically writes weekday delivery only.

:(

Hmm... that sucks :(
That said, I wasn't affected by the CC fraudulent charge issue although I've used CGW for the 4 deliveries in Jan 2014... Fingers crossed though...

I just check with Comgateway. you can set DHL or Fedex as your default shipping agent.

I set mine to DHL as their customer service is alot better. and also deliver in weekends.

Use paypal to pay via cgw, dont pay using your card details directly if you feel insecure. I always try to go through paypal, and rarely entrust any site with my cc details (except steam)

Off topic CGW provided very good service to me when I p[med them on forum. Even pm me back and email me with updates on package progress when my package matching was delayed.
