They opened one call jade chicken at tiong bahru, closed in 2 months.
I think they are overpriced nonsense. Not like it's extremely hard to make or need certain extra ingredients.
In China, they have similar fried then bbq chickens selling at rmb5 or less.
This thread makes me want jiak jollybee dip the sauceMost of Korean fried chicken also same.
Add some sauce can sell x 2 the price of normal chicken wing lol
Dont take china to compare la, we dont have our local produce, everything need to ship or fly in and plus the rental of cos expensive lah.

Outside hawker 2 pcs with flies and coleslaw already around 6.90
coffeeshop stall rental also not cheap these days, especially those with high foot falls
