You only posted last night, so replies aren't going to come immediately, don't spam the forum please.

Search for Sanus, Queenie and other common brands at most large dealers like Courts or HN.

Thanks for your suggestion.

And I didn't know that bumping a post 10hrs later would constitute as spamming...

I have a 39" TV and would like to buy a wall mount (up to 50") that can allow for it to be turned 90 degrees from the wall it is mounted on.

What can I look at getting that is available in Singapore?

Hi guys, would a B&D 550W drill be able to drill through typical HDB concrete walls? Deciding between this or a 710W model.

just get the most powerful 710W model and switch the drill's selector switch to hammer mode more power means can save alot of effort drilling also

If it's old flat means the wall is the solid type. U will have a hard time drilling with normal hammer drill. What u need is a rotary hammer drill. It can drill a hole for hard solid wall in seconds. How to differentiate between a rotary hammer drill and normal hammer drill? Easiest way is normal hammer drill bit need to be tighten with a Chunk key. Rotary hammer drill on the other hand is just push the drill bits in and it will lock.
For my case, I used normal hammer drill and drill untill my hand shaking still didn't get deep at all and the drill bit actually bend

If u're having a hard time drilling thru' the wall, I'm suspecting it may be a reinforced conrete wall, which to my limited knowledge, part of the pillars of a flat and the regulations of HDB is that u cannot drill holes in reinforced concrete wall. For normal walls, u should not have an issue using a standard hammer drill. Personally, I'm using a Bosch hammer drill which have no problems drilling most types of concrete.

Be careful what you are drilling through bro...

Good advice....for those whose homes have wiring and/or plumbing hidden within the walls. U will need to know where they are to prevent puncturing the pipes....or worse, electrocuting urselves.

Any tips for newbie attempting to drill for the first time? I might loan the drill from Ikea instead, since they don't charge.
