I think I am one of the worst Warhammer 40,000 collector ever.

I have not even finished the current 6 guys and I went on to clean up and assemble the remaining 4 guys that were still in their sprues.

Progress at the moment is slow. Trying to get into the mood again.

Well, I just finished cleaning up and partially assembled several Tactical Space Marines and Terminators. Guess I can show you starting from them then.

Hahaha...yeah. Yellow is a definite bitch to apply nicely. But the end product, when done properly, is quite spectacular in my opinion. Especially when you got a 1,500 point Imperial Fists army on a table.

GW website has several good articles on painting. Do a search on web and you can find lotsa useful info on miniature painting.

Getting White Dwarfs magazines is useful too. You can get ideas and tips from there.

Painting takes time with lotsa practice. You just gotta start and keep painting. Your first minis tend to look like crap which is normal and happen to all of us. Most people give up when they realise their first few minis dont look nearwhere like those we seen from 'eavy metal' or Golden Daemon entries.

If you like painting, dont give up and keep practicing. Most importantly, just enjoy it as its a hobby at the end of the day.

Yeah. Its supposed to be a hobby. A time consuming one.

If you are really into painting, then read up articles on the internet. Best place to start is definitely Games Workshop's website. They have a couple of articles there that can help even beginners. Also, it is vital to get your hands on some good brushes. They make all the difference.

Actually, for me, trying to get my butt off and sitting down and start painting is the difficult part. Hahaha...or sometimes I got things to do over the weekends that are more important than painting. Haiz...

I hope I will have time this weekend. I really want to complete the Terminators!

I think I will have an update for you all this weekend bah. Not completed models mind you. Probably the halfway stage with getting a clean yellow armor for the whole lot of them.

Yellow is really difficult to work with.
