 Watch Series 6

I’m using Singtel so the process is like that. I presume M1 will follow suit, but sometimes might be carrier dependant.

Example today I unpaired my Series 5. During the unpairing process the watch app will ask if you wish to remove existing plan or keep it, so I chose to keep it. Upon pairing my Series 6, during the setup it’ll come to whether you wish to activate the cellular plan as it knows you have one plan on it. So I activated back but Singtel thereafter sent me a service agreement, most probably some re-activation fee.

By right it should but then again if unsure, best to contact M1 customer service to confirm.

Colour face? Watch faces are all in the OS itself. It’s only the watch case that’s different. I’ve always used stainless steel from the original watch, to Series 2, 3, 4, 5 and now 6.

Ok thanks, then what’s the difference between Nike Series 6 and normal Series 6 ?
The sales guy told me Nike wan got 1 special watch face only exclusive to Nike ? Is this correct or I understand him wrongly ?

Nike series have watch face designs which are exclusive to Nike, similarly for Hermes.

So yes, that guy’s right.

Those who jog & run with Apple Watch, what face you select when you are running ?

Is it must get the Nike version to be able to see pace, distance, cadence and timer on your watch face when you run ?

I use apps (Workoutdoors/Strava) when running/biking. You are able to see those metrics you mentioned.


But yes you will miss out some Nike faces if you get the non-Nike version.
I got Nike version for S4 but I dont think it matters that much to me as I almost never use them. Still up to you though.

The watch charging cable comes in the box but do note there’s no charging adapter.

You can subscribe direct frm the Apple Watch app when you pair and setup your watch. Once done, your telco will send you a confirmation SMS on your activation status.

Thanks, no charging adapter is fine, got already have 2 QC and 2PD Charger.

First time getting apple watch. So I understand v6 doesn’t come with charger & only has the cable. I guess the iphone 11 pro max charger will do? Or do I need a more powerful charger?

Also, anyone here using the sport loop (the fabric one)? I have a habit of washing my watch daily esp now with covid. I assume the strap can tahan daily washing? Does it take a long time to dry?

The charging puck only needs 5W any USB adapter should be fine.
It dries in about an hour. Will recommend you to hand wash.

Consider the silicon bands if you would like to wash them.

Yes you can walk in.
However there’s very limited aluminium models.
If I’m not wrong there’s only the Apple Watch SS with white sports band at orchard.
If you want you can download the Apple Store app to check stock levels.
