Collected Series 6 in less than 5 mins via Express Pick-Up at Apple Orchard Road (which is one of their side entrances). I asked to try the Solo Loop sizer and they brought it out to the door for me - it's a silicone measuring tape tool that will help get the right fit. Just a tip for those who are collecting and don't want to bother with a shopping appointment to try the band.

Must report on how you find the blue aluminium. I was so tempted to get it.

It has a darker shade of blue than just the standard blue. If you’re wanting a new colour and preference for darker colours, this blue AW is a great addition.

The watch charging cable comes in the box but do note there’s no charging adapter.

You can subscribe direct frm the Apple Watch app when you pair and setup your watch. Once done, your telco will send you a confirmation SMS on your activation status.

The reason some of us are getting cellular is because of the case.

Otherwise there isn't really a point in getting cellular if you're not going to sign up for a plan.

Note, there’s no physical SIM card for the Apple Watch, only eSIM. When you pair your cellular watch to your phone, you can subscribe to numbershare via the setup. So in a nutshell, it’s tied to your phone’s number.

Not sure if you’ve a eSIM activated in your phone, but that’s how it works on a physical SIM in your phone.

If someone wants a stainless steel or titanium case, it only comes in cellular models. Only aluminium case have both cellular and GPS-only models.

Oic ... i chose cellular bcos of the cellular function, can make call without the hp nearby but I selected aluminum casing bcos it’s the cheapest face ....

I’ve always been using cellular since it was out in Series 3 and very useful for me as sometimes I won’t have the phone with me when I’m out on errands. I preferred stainless steel as it feels more like a watch due to material and weight.

I’m using Singtel so the process is like that. I presume M1 will follow suit, but sometimes might be carrier dependant.

Example today I unpaired my Series 5. During the unpairing process the watch app will ask if you wish to remove existing plan or keep it, so I chose to keep it. Upon pairing my Series 6, during the setup it’ll come to whether you wish to activate the cellular plan as it knows you have one plan on it. So I activated back but Singtel thereafter sent me a service agreement, most probably some re-activation fee.

Is it must get the Nike version to be able to see pace, distance, cadence and timer on your watch face when you run ?

Colour face? Watch faces are all in the OS itself. It’s only the watch case that’s different. I’ve always used stainless steel from the original watch, to Series 2, 3, 4, 5 and now 6.
