 Watch Series 6

Need a bit of help here. My ECG now can't start up on my Series 6, previously was fine on Series 5.

Here's the story. On the watch it says to set up ECG, open the Health app on your iPhone. In my phone's Health app, I had some ECG data from my Series 5 which I deleted as wanted to start fresh with Series 6. In the summary, it also states my ECG is enabled on my Series 6 which is strange, since the watch says to open up Health app on phone.

I thought my Series 6 had some issue with the ECG so I unpaired it and re-paired it, restoring from backup, didn't work. I did a second time, this time setting up as a new watch, also didn't work.

In the Health app on iPhone, I went to browse, under ECG, all those stats shown under 'More' is all 0 as I erased my Series 5's history. But scrolling down, I tapped on 'Data Sources & Access', all fields are 'None' including data sources.

Any solution?

Well, if you have set up as new and ECG is not activated, you might have a faulty unit.

Everything else is fine except the ECG. I might bring it back to Apple Store tomorrow.

I went to Marina Bay Sands one and did a quick check on the apple store app. Generally I think all stainless steel version probably no more. Aluminium still have as I saw alot of people purchasing that while there.

Braided loops left with blue and army but not sure is it for all sizes. It was available for 11

But it says that those with gps+cellular unit, there will be a “....” in green to indicate the strength of the cellular network. Mine is a cellular unit but it doesn’t show any dots at all leh ...

The dots only show up if you have an eSIM installed.

But it’s not showing in the Nike Run Club app ...

Any ideas ?

Try going into the "Health" App > Profile (top-right) > Privacy-Apps and enable access for the Nike Run Club app.

Yeah the apple store guy brought the army green and blue out for me to try but I really can’t stomach that $149 for it when I can get a leather or Milanese loop one

Correct me if I’m wrong, this depends on whether you purchased your Apple Watch as a pre-packaged set or through the use of Watch Studio program.

If you did it as a pre-packaged set, then you’ll need to return both the watch and the band.
However, if you purchase it via the Watch Studio program, then you can try to exchange the band only.

However, both option requires you to do it within 14 days.

You need to be disconnected from your iPhone and nearby wifi networks for your watch to be on the Cellular.

Could it be that the Nike Run Club app can only accept from one app ?

Mine is aluminum gold but mine is 44mm though

I have been using the default Meridian watch face that came with it.

I changed the bottom data to Heart Rate but instead of showing what my heart rate is, it just display an icon of a heart.

Any ideas ?

The apple watch6 now no stocks? Purchase online but wanna do self collection, because delivery too long. If walk-in got stocks? The blue aluminum with the sport band looks good.

Not sure if those ‘bugs’ are affecting my ECG app. First setup as a new watch, the app is in the watch but not working. I just did a second setup as a new watch, never appeared.

Now I’m really beginning to think if my Series 6 ECG is really dead or software bugs.
