I went for 2 outdoor runs with the AW but still no VO2 max data.
Yesterday was 30 mins run and today slightly more than 1 hour.

Read somewhere that any outdoor run more than 20 mins will enable the VO2 max already. Any idea or solutions ? Thanks in advance

For serious run forget about AW lah, just use your Garmin ... the VO2 and whatnot are not readily available thru the Garmin apps ...

Cheers 🥂

If I want to order Nike Sports Band with none Nike edition watch, can I still order online and change when pickup in store or do I have to order it in store?

What app did you use to track? I used apple’s own workout app to track. Vo2max is usually recorded. In fact before series 6 it’s already recorded. I’m sure it’s not that accurate cos it’s based on estimate by body weight age speed and heart rate etc.

My complain is no blood oxygen being recorded during workouts.

I am using the Apple workout app but after 2 runs still no Vo2 max.

My friend had the same issue and he log out of iCloud and log in again he said ok already. I just logged out and in again. Will go for a run later and try out.

Thanks

Ya I know Garmin is a better watch for running but my wife says i should be contactable during run in case of any emergency and in case I need help midway through my longer runs. So I may have to only use AW for running from now. See how it goes ... but I definitely prefer Garmin for running as the Garmin connect is solid. AW got to use fitness app, health app and Watch app very confusing haha

If you intend to order the plain black Nike 44mm sports band, let me know. I may have one spare coming in next few days.

The Apple Watch wasn’t primarily made for running, but more of health monitoring and connectivity emphasis. Garmin’s more of GPS and running but what I like about Garmin is basically their GPS. Sometime last year I also saw in newspaper that Garmin have a watch for aviators that costs over $3000?

Yes I agree. Garmin is well known for their GPS and in recent years they have managed to create a niche in gps watches but too bad they haven’t manufacture watches with cellular yet.

I estimate 60-70% of people who buys garmin watches used it for running but maybe only 20-30% of people who buys Apple Watch runs.

Garmin aviator watches are professional grade quality

Oh my bro likes my series 6 so I may pass mine to him and get myself either a blue alu or a graphite if I feel rich enough. May I ask how to I transfer my Singtel cellular plan to the new watch ?
