The original Milanese have excellent workmanship, strong magnet and the mesh is very smooth. At least now it's $149, last time when I got it, was $219.

if want Milanese loop, need to get original.
OEM one cannot make it.

I bought a chiong Milanese loop before. Hated it so much that I went to buy the original one few days later. Original is the way to go.

Saw a guy at apple orchard who tried to enter without appointment and was turned away. They also told him no more ready stocks for sale in the store.

Seems like now for Apple, only online order, but 1 month wait.

my dark cherry is the latest of the 3 braided loops I bought. So far the quality have been excellent.

Thanks for the recommendation bro, but I'm not really a fan of the solo/braided loops. For now I only wear stainless steel straps.

U meant the sport solo loop? It’s better cos it has no knob or metal portion.

Hard to confirm the delay due to strap combination. Like mine with the Milanese band, I thought will be delayed but still manage to commit the delivery date to be today.

So if you use Apple Watch Studio to select your watch/strap combo, stocks really depends on availability, while some are not even available. My wife's 41mm midnight GPS model with Dark Cherry sport band was also customised from Apple Watch Studio and fortunately able to pick up at Apple Store today. So for those customised ones which are not part of the standard ones, the label behind the box does not state the type of strap, only the size of watch and colour.

In all on 8 October, I took more than 30mins to finally pre-order both her's and mine's.

If really need a 'dress down', I still have white, black and product red sports bands. I can even mix them.

Only way earlier is to go into the apple store app everyday and see if they update the stocks. Sometimes when the stocks are here might be earlier than delivery. Can leave the item you want in the cart and it will refresh whether available for pickup

Yes stocks may update day-to-day, similarly for the iPhone 13 Pro Max availability. Usually Apple will not be too late.
