I have added my only credit card to the wallet in AW. Yesterday, I tried to pay the bill by positioning my wrist near the reader when paying at petrol kiosk, however, it was unsuccessful. But I could see the credit card was added successfully or rather is similar to the one in iPhone. Any idea where went long? Or it can only use it for taking MRT and bus? Thanks.

Which bank? You’ll need to make sure it’s supported.

If supported, try removing the card and re-adding it.

OCBC. I have no issue using the card when positioning it from iPhone.

OCBC shouldn’t have any issues as I’ve 2 cards added to it, even on Apple Watch itself.

1. screen protector(is tempered glass any good? Heard the trade off is reduced sensitivity)

U just need to double click the side button and u will get an instruction on screen saying “hold near reader” right at the top of the Watch screen. That’s when u can scan and pay using the Watch. Going to the wallet app in the Watch does allow u to use it for payment until u double click the side button. This applies to all payment when using Apple Watch.

U mentioned added the card. Did u check whether is the card activated in your apple watch? Use the Watch app in your iPhone and double confirm.

Glad you got your issue resolved.

For me I only use my Apple Watch for tapping, never used the phone.

as in on-line purchase with pickup at MBS? If so, answer is no. I tired that and was rejected. Only possible if payment is made at the shop and at point of payment, Apple MBS needs to scan your MBS membership barcode.

No. It is like Kamikazen highlighted. After you have successfully added the card to AW. You are ready to use but you need to the press the button twice which is located below the dial. The card will appear, and you should see the words “hold near reader” appear on top of the card. Then you are ready to go. I just tested. It works.
