Personally, I like braided solo loop and it very comfortable. Had not use other strap after using braided solo loop. Still, it's up to individual.

my only concern is sweat. lol

even washing, after some time it still will be quite smelly right?

Washing depends on what u used to wash it. I can't comment on sweat, smelly, etc because I dun face this issue but physically, everyone is different.
