Yes, casefactorie & other distributors are legit. From my experience with these small US brands, local distributor tend to sell cheaper than getting directly, as they get distributor price plus they set their own profit margin.

Yes, yes & yes for Trial Loop.

Like many people recommend on fb awu group. Just shower with your watch when u wanna clean it, use a bit of body soap.

I'm using the Alpine and yes, will turn smelly after certain time of exposure to perspiration. I just washed mine last night and now smells of the detergent. But it won't be long before it combines with perspiration smell.

So for straps like these, have to wash from time to time in order to keep it clean and hygienic.
