wa nice, which is the one that u bought? the $3.94 one or the other one?OK, I took a closer look. The buckle is a full piece, but the loop is actually adjustable. So the loop is not a full piece but instead can be taken out and moved to a new slot.![]()

The more expensive one, coz I ordered back when there're not this many sellers so that used to be one of the cheaper ones. Now you see so many between $3 to $5 or $6.wa nice, which is the one that u bought? the $3.94 one or the other one?
I find all 3 loops not suitable for me bcos Alpine loop, the hook so troublesome to take out, trail loop will get smelly after some runs. I don’t like the Ocean band but have to get it bcos no other choices.Anyway I just visited Orchard Apple Store and took a look at their demo trail loop. It's very soft and a little stretchy. Think among the 3 new bands for the Ultra, the trail loop is the most comfortable. Still I find alpine loop is most suitable for my purpose.
The trail loop is still not available to purchase so online order only. The other 2 are available for purchase.
Totally agreed … not practical at all …Press one button is still easier than 2 buttons. Moreover most people wear on left arm, hence easier to use your thumb to press rather than index and middle finger. It's all about ergonomics.
I'm no expert, and just guessing what you're asking:Hi all experts,
is there a quick guide video on how to transfer the watch from my AW6 to AWU to that my AWU is in synce with my iPhone ?
Thanks

i will use back my old solo loop band …
Does that mean you can choose to wear either your AW7 or AWU ?I'm no expert, and just guessing what you're asking:
My AW7 is synced to my iPhone all this time. When I got the AWU, IIRC, I just added that to the iPhone. Then noticed most things from the AW7 got into the AWU except having to work a little on the Apple Wallet.![]()
+1 my first run is a nightmare, i don't know how many marker i set as i cant figure out how to pause the workout when i am at traffic junctionPress one button is still easier than 2 buttons. when i finish working out i realized i set like 25 markers...
it is all in the mind
Yeah I don’t like velcro too …The G hook on the Alpine though need a little more maneuvering on securing and removing it but it’s really very secure and holds on very well. For me I don’t like straps which are fastened by velcro because the velcro will deteriorate over time.

I do agree pressing 1 button is easier... But i think it in this way: only apple watch ultra needs to press 2 buttons no? This makes it specialit is all in the mind

Very convenient. Don't need to scroll through the app list to find workout app to choose the work out type. I just press 1 button and it starts my run immediately...I find the action button is pretty useful to start workout (which I set it as), but I believe in future more 3rd party ones such as Strava will be able to utilise the action button. The AWU is built way differently and after using AW for 7 years, AWU felt like a smart watch in G-Shock style.

How are u bro? All ok?
Try to keep the wound dry for faster healing...Thanks for asking, my arm’s still a little sore with some pain around the wrist and elbow area when some force in exerted. It’s recovering but slowly. The larger abrasion just behind my right shoulder still have some pain too and the wound is still a little raw due to outer skin being worned off, so still under a small bandage else will stain clothing.![]()

Glad that it is recovering bro... Praying for your speedy recovery man...
That's right. It's really easy to switch, I just have to enter the PIN of whichever AW I want to use and it'll sync almost immediately. If you don't PIN-lock your AW, then just have to turn your wrist and walah!Does that mean you can choose to wear either your AW7 or AWU ?
Thanks
Did you go for the X-ray today?Yup but the wound’s still ‘wet’ for now, doc gave antibiotic cream for application, so I covered with a gauze.
Wah many thanks bro, really appreciate that.
Did you go for the X-ray today?
Wishing you a speedy recovery too!
I have same problem. I stick to my trusted Garmin for runs because my Apple Watch 6, I don't have physical button to stop the watch.
Once I was completing my first half marathon, quite a milestone for an apek like me and when I tried to stop the run on my AW6, the screen is not responsive to my wet fingers and I can stop the run. I need to also swipe the screen to press stop and the screen cannot swipe/slide. Luckily I wore 2 watches together my Garmin.
With the Ultra, we can stop the run by pressing both the Action button and side button simultaneously ?
Another gripe that I had with the AW6 is that it doesn't have a metric to monitor my max HR. Can the Ultra do this now ?
To solve this, I bought the Walkoutdoor app and installed. But not sure if we can configure the Action button to stop the run in the walkoutdoor app ?
Thanks
Please take good care until fully recoveredNo need for X-ray yet since doc checked no dislocation, just internal infammation around the elbow area and this should also be the cause of my arm not being able to fully straighten. It’s around 90% straight.
