For me, just the battery life and sapphire screen already worth liao. My s6 ss keeps having problem finding screen protector... Hydrogel got rubbery feeling, and i do not want to use loca glue tempered glass. Im a rough user so it is important for me to have a screen protector installed. The sapphire screen on s6 still scratches though as it is not pure sapphire glass

But from the tests i see online on AWU, it seems like it is using pure sapphire glass though as it doesnt scratch on all sorts of tests like using stone, rock and sand to scratch it, or even dragging the watch via a moving car over a long distance

Waiting Jerryrigeverything to test it with the mohs pick :s13:

For now at least can use it naked and don't need hunt for screen protector

Yay picked up my 2nd ultra with black trail loop and returned the alpine ultra on the spot. Troublesome part is that I need to call hotline ding dong here and there to get my AC+ refund.

Managed to resist buying back the alpine and ocean loop.

ya ... im using series 3 alu for 4yrs.. battery still can last for ~1 day with normal usage .. but if im exercising.. then it depletes quite fast esepcially when i on app to track my cycling distance.. decided to upgrade this year.. from a very small screen to a big screen + new features.. i think its a huge jump and its worth it.. the series 3 .. still paired with my current phone.. i use it occasionally for short exercise though hahah

I spotted a scratch on my cheapo screen protector film on the 10th day. Probably knocked against the window grill somewhere... With all the sudden rain these days, I've even resorted to removing my watch before stopping the rain from flooding the place. 😅

Maybe I'll start throwing caution to the winds (or rain) on the 100th day... :s13:

Apple watch are usually incremental updates yearly. I dont feel is worth to upgrade yearly though. Probably just use it till it spoils

coz dont want to spend additional. i just went to try 1 more time the alpine loop L size... i clasp it at the side of the wrist. it still is at the bottom which makes wearing the watch and typing abit gao wei. neh mind.... i shall keep my existing set and use the trinity band loop.

I never needed any screen protector since the original AW as I’ve always been using stainless steel and none of them have any scratches on the screen.

Not sure if AWU uses real sapphire crystal but I think should be the same as the SS ones.
