Try it with an Apple brick & see if it's still the same.

don't have an Apple brick yet. but feels weird if the brick makes a difference. thought it's only the wattage output of a brick. Plus, UGREEN quite a reliable brand.

just took note of mine charging now:

817 AM - 33%
824 AM - 34%
831 AM - 34%
854 AM - 47%
857 AM - 47%
938 AM - 65%
10AM - 74%

Apple being Apple. Never know if they set some integrations to make their own product work better than using aftermarket brands.
I usually charge my watch in the morning with around 50-60% while I prepare for work. 1hr sure 100% already.

I use the original Apple Watch charging cable from the 45mm, but UGreen 2xC charger as it's also for my iPads.

One thing I realized with UGreen is, brand may be the same, setup similar (eg 3A 1C), but the wattage can be different. I've a 3A 1C 65W but there's a 100W out there. So ya, brand is not everything, that's what I learned to look at all specs.

i'm using this and only charging a single AWU at the first USB-C so i'm not sharing the wattage. Max is 65W.

Anyway, I'm using the 2C one and it's been charging pretty fast since my 7 45mm, and I use the same to charge my Ultra too. Works good.

Edit: Why not get hold of another charger, etc, and see what exactly is the problem? If it's really the Ultra, go visit Apple?

I had battery draining issues from the previous watchOS but it seems to be fixed after the latest update. Anyone experienced it too?

You don't have a Apple 20W brick to test? I don't see a point for such tedious monitoring.

If Apple brick gives you better charge speed then perhaps your ugreen adapter does not fully utilize the full capability of the AW charging cable.

If your slow charge speed still persists despite using Apple brick then it's perhaps your AW problem instead? Case closed alr ma?

no i don't have an Apple 20W brick.

it's not a tedious monitoring. it's just charging beside me and when i happen to look at the watch, i just see the time and the battery %.

i'll source for the 20W brick to 'test'.

Price dropping quite significantly already. I rmb seeing shopee store selling cheaper for bands that are in less demand eg. the Yellow/beige trail loop.

Maybe in a month or two sale will go stagnant as people will be "Waiting for AWU 2"

Remember the initial days when the Trail Loops are so hot in demand that have to wait for over a month for an order. Now all straps are readily available. Loving my blue/grey one!
