guys just wanna check with you. I have this harddisk issue. the internal hdd green start disconnecting by its own and then came back randomly. Initiately I thought it was the sata cable. Might be some loose end. Then I realised the hdd was disconnected randomly then reconnect again and disconnect again. It cannot be detected on bios and disk management when reconnected. Tried different sata cable and sata port on mobo. issue occured for this hdd. while my other hdd is working properly on those port.

Is it an issue with the pin connector on the hdd that connect to the sata? or it might be issue with the Power supply unit not providing enough power? its been fine all this while.:(:s11:

It could be the power connector to the hdd is faulty or already loosen.

Try using a different power connector to the hdd. You may also wish to plug your hdd to another PC to confirm the state of your hdd.

What model are u using?

It's time to backup all your files asap. Issues like these of it coming back, in our experience is due to a few things:

1. SATA Connector on HDD starting to get loose.

2. SATA Problems internally in Motherboard - Could be due to a driver issue, with ProBox on Windows 8.1 this is a common issue, u require a registry fix (but yours is internal HDD, so does not apply in this case)

3. HDD malfunctioning - Quickly backup whatever u can! Then RMA your HDD here:

4. Power Supply issue - not enough Power?

Hope this helps :)
