If given fractional shares, are we able to amalgamate into 1 contract comprising additional fractional shares plus additional whole unit shares from the non-fractional market? I posed this question at Webull app but get no answers.

everything shows as 1 listing if I understand yr qn correctly. like I got Tesla on 2 occasions it just shows as 0.84 qty now

yeah but most likely they give u the least one.. i funded $1 and i get all $10 fractional share only loh ~50usd or $60sgd...

u scared just fund $1 to try lo

i think what he meant is if he got like 0.05 tesla share from the promo. can be buy 0.95 tesla only to make it 1 tesla .

Yes exactly. And if I wanted to buy more, can buy 0.95 from fractional market plus say 5 units from normal market but will they amalgamate & combine at 1 contract so that my holding will become 6 units?

I think so. why would it be different?

Some investors like to see whole number & not fractions of their holdings. Also, there won't be free commission trades wef April. If can combine that will save some $ off the fees.

Futu and Moomoo also ran such promos before (gave 1 apple share or disney share), they just basically throwing money at you to get more sign ups in the hope that some will try and convert to long term users.. like how grab and uber threw discounts at you when they just started.

what i meant is if you so scared and think this is not true, just top up $1 , also not a big loss if not true. Also that even though they say you got a chance to get from $50 to $500 worth of shares, majority of the people will most likely only get $50 worth.

seems its started by a chinese ( ex Alibaba ) and owned by chinese but registered in USA. so i guess subject to US laws.

Webull launch Moneybull something similar to moomoo cash plus all into same Fullerton Cash Fund underlying. Anyone know how it works in Webull?
