I can use Mari Saving Account to transfer to my WeChat linked China Bank account previously,(SG Passport opened), not sure now. Recently use DBS, because DBS has it's Remit Promotion for new user ( can do yearly), With that, it beat the Mari Bank FX rate.Couldn't transfer from Mari credit card. Able to transfer to WeChat wallet from savings but fx has 0.46% difference.

on WeChat, search mini program and set up the “跨境汇款 微汇款”, and set up your wechat receive information first, then use DBS Remit to remit the money to Wechat. see below DBS link for the detail. How does DBS remit work? Can share more information.
Definitely there will be a difference in FX. For CC, MaribankCouldn't transfer from Mari credit card. Able to transfer to WeChat wallet from savings but fx has 0.46% difference.
Absolutely correctso basically, all spending in China (any amount) should be done via WeChat Wallet (backup with Alipay).
The main challenge is to top-up WeChat Wallet with the best exchange rate.
And currently via MariBank overseas transfer is 1 of the best rate around.
All the above correct?
Oh. But the rate like lower than Maribank. i Just check the rate is only RMB5.15 as compared to Maribank RMB5.20.on WeChat, search mini program and set up the “跨境汇款 微汇款”, and set up your wechat receive information first, then use DBS Remit to remit the money to Wechat. see below DBS link for the detail.
