Same as mybooklive just that it has an additional usb port for additional storage.
Not sure the speed is faster or not but WD has updated the software to make it easier to config.

for the IOS, both the apps the same.

If cost is steep go for mybooklive, I saw Sitex dropping the price as they want to clear stock.

Strange about amazon is that they'd ship the 3TB for free but not the 4TB version.

Feel like hooting from Amazon because of USB 3.0 and affordable price at Amazon.com: WD My Cloud 4TB Personal Cloud Storage - NAS (WDBCTL0040HWT-NESN): Computers & Accessories. Still deliberating.

Any bros bought and using it, care to comments on power consumption, noise, and compatbility with Smart TV, and speed ? I am using LG LM6410 and watch alot of mkv and rmvb, wonder any codec problems. Please comment.

it is a storage device, not a player. codec problem shldnt b applicable here.
