What A9 Processor you have

the battery life of my Samsung chip 6s plus is pretty okay, i'm not disappointed with it, especially with the fact that it can survive the whole day similar to my Xperia Z3.

my 6s ( samsung ) can do at least 1.5 days based on my usage pattern.

By noon, with the normal usage patterns , batt dropped down to 54%

8am - 99%
By noon, with the normal usage patterns, batt dropped down to 75%

It's really a huge difference for me and samsung chip tends to get hot easily too.

I agree. Mine is TSMC chip, wake up 7:30am 100%, reach office still 8:30am 100%. 12pm, 90%... What can I say.. I am happy with this IP6S+ and also not hot, runs cool.

Tts a 20% diff in batt life, hard to really narrow down as there could be some variance in usage pattern, unless u do standard applications test such as YouTube or gaming..

As long as phone works fine, don't worry too much

On low power mode. 100% - 97% from 5am to 3pm. Never use. Got 36 whatsapp, 4 emails, 2 sms.
