this is our washer model. We got it to wash big stuff like quilt cover and bed sheets.... On hindsight, we have a laundromat downstairs commercial sized one for such linens. Only need a smaller washer.

Oh well.

They say size matters.
Usually moi wash bedsheets, quilt , curtains at evening weekly, clothes in morleng daily

No need use laundromat, dunno previous users got skin diseases anot

Haus no AC so always open windows, natural wind dry

Moi hang indoor one at living room, dun want hang outside kitchen, rater got upstairs throw pisai or kotex

one interesting thing though. Detergent choice can affect the lifespan of your washing machine. Some have more corrosive chemicals which will cause more wear and tear over time, potentially reducing 1 to 2 years of expect life.

I really kana kotex before once, landed on the bamboo pole so zhun before moving in.

Good la your living room big enough to accommodate for indoor drying. Nowadays living room so small, no space to walk

For my top load washing machine: Breeze Power Clean liquid type. Think this brand so far the best, don’t produce foam.

Those pod type not really ideal for top loaders as they generate too much foam. And you must have full wash load. Cannot control precise dosage.

Whichever got promo

Usually TOP or FAB

Powder , must get foam.otherwise how to believe clothes clean?

Foam is not good for those with very sensitive skin . Moreover not easy to wash off the soapy feel.

Actually sg weather forever humid, no point get dehumidifier. But strange things ish that clothes dry bery fast before evening.

If wash and hang bedsheets overnight, morleng dry riao, quilt maybe take longer

If using front load machine.

Stay with

Spin
Persil
Dixan

Do not use too much detergent when washing.

Use powder.

Do not use Tablets.

very siong to wash daily, esp occasionally 2 rounds, you need a large drying area. Both outdoor and indoor racks.

If rain very troublesome. We don't hang out clothes out in the open overnight as it has been raining recently.

We only hang out if we do laundry in the day and can bring in if it rains.

Normally we just use the indoor auto laundry rack - sometimes use the fan blow function
Get a dryer.

Family don’t like front load. Long wash time and harder to maintain(rubbber gasket) and difficult to retrieve clothes.
Anyway, I use KA pods. Less messy. Rubber gasket need to wipe dry after use n keep washing machine cover open to air. These will prevent mold from forming

Nellie’s. Cheapest and good for machine and safe. But no scent so sometimes I miss it. But I guess rather no scent than artificial scent.

How often do you run your washing machine? Or how many loads / cycles per month? We use around every 5 days, and wash big linens like bedsheets every 2 weeks? So extra 2 cycles per month?

I ordered at the start of the year before CNY about 8 or 12 packs of TOP refill packs, I think I only used 1 pack and on 2nd pack (finishing). Definitely not exceed 3 pack. the 1.8kg one
Wash weekly, 2pax
One load of bedsheets
One load of towels
One load of dark clothes
One load of light clothes
One load of dirty rags
One load of drum clean, repeat

Can don’t wash bedsheets every week?? Even aircon also need to wash every week leh… :/

my Nellie’s powder 100 loads can last very long, up to a year longest as not always need full cap… one load less than $0.15 is most ideal.
