For my top load washing machine: Breeze Power Clean liquid type. Think this brand so far the best, don’t produce foam.

Those pod type not really ideal for top loaders as they generate too much foam. And you must have full wash load. Cannot control precise dosage.
TOPs, like their smell...

I have a 2 years old front-loading Toshiba washing machine . Whatever low-sub (quarter cap) detergent I use at times it overflows through the detergent drawer causing hell of a mess on the floor. Nothing chocked on the drain pipe.

Dynamo. But want to change because they remove the small size container. Now smallest is medium size which is over $10. 😡
Dynamo quite expensive. Maybe only use for really dirty clothes or use slightly lesser amounts since it’s already strong.

I go jb, at least 8 bottles for 6-8 months. Each cost $6 after converting... SG I think more than $10 or on sale $8 or so?
I wait for discount.
Downey too expensive.
Last time use that.
Now switch.

one interesting thing though. Detergent choice can affect the lifespan of your washing machine. Some have more corrosive chemicals which will cause more wear and tear over time, potentially reducing 1 to 2 years of expect life.

Change to front load next time. Save more water and clothes won't get entangled
Family don’t like front load. Long wash time and harder to maintain(rubbber gasket) and difficult to retrieve clothes.

This type of washing machine is good, can wash clean and can last. In-laws still using 🤣
