I know that usually a Graphic card is like GTX980 4GB or GTX960 4GB..this is called a single module graphic card. But i heard like palit GTX 950 storm X dual 2GB..is this a dual module graphic card??

What is the main difference and performance?

So far i never came across dual module graphic card so wish to know more about it.

What the heck are you talking about?? Lol...

You refering to SLI or two/three slots card?

sli - putting 2 identical architecture gpu into the same motherboard.

Two/three slot - gpu that uses two or three pci slots on the case. May affect SLI to a certain extent.

The one you're referring to, the "dual" refers to the fans.

Dual module cards are in the high end range... (E.g., Titan Z and R9 295X2). Older cards were like Gtx 690, Radeon HD 7990?

What is the main difference and performance?

So far i never came across dual module graphic card so wish to know more about it.

Can see some here: A Quick History of Multi-GPU Video Cards

Think TS referring to cards with dual GPU chips on a single board, like Titan Z and R9 295X2.

Dual can mean dual-GPU (2 GPU chips within the same card), or dual-fan cooling system.

Dual gpu on a single card eliminates the need for sli/cfx connector. But most of such cards were clocked lower than their single gpu versions in order to reduce power and tdp requirement. Ended up slower than multi card configurations. And micro stuttering will still be there. Only good thing is the smaller footprint and probably the lower power consumption.

The proper term should be dual gpu single card.

LOL...ya correct..sorry for confusion as i din know can have dual gpu single card..

I google to check you 295x2 and is 2x4gb vram card.

So if a 4gb GPU vs 2x2gb GPU which will be better?

In dual gpu situation, a 2x2 configuration doesn't equal to 4gb of total available ram. The framebuffer will always be limited to 2gb. The other 2gb is a duplicate of that.

Dx12 is supposed to fix this.
