It's not that I want to go to the A&E everytime.
I just want to get a different painkiller because it's not aiding in my situation at all.

The MO told me that I will have a PES Review on the 11th and in regards to going to the next day for the latest memo, the doctor at A&E told me so.

I didn't have any back problem before enlistment that would cause any pain.
It was after a few PTs then I reported back pain and was given a specialist appointment thereafter.
Why are you visiting A&E and not specialist? Did the MO stop you from providing the memo before the medical review?

My specialist appointment is on the 15th, it was just scheduled recently.
No, I was stopped by my sir and told me that I can just provide all of my other recent memos during the review instead.

When I first joined my branch, my there as like a welcome message into the whatsapp group and it stated that only private hospitals are not allowed.

But when I first seeked permission from my sergeant, he said only A&E allowed.
Polyclinic are not allowed.
I did enforce the fact that I'm unable to carry heavy weight but they just said that this is light and you can carry for sure one la.
Will you didn’t enforce what’s consider light and heavy. It’s relative.

They said it’s not allowed, but what happens if u got a Attend C from private hospital or poly clinic? Are they going to reject it? No right, at most ask you go MO endorse.

That is very true, which is a mistake on my end.
Thanks for your advice, I'll try to make this clearer to them.

I'm unsure for the private hospital or polyclinic part, but they did say that if you were to get MC from either, you are to report back to camp.

Yea, I understand from an outsider's point of perspective.
I'm unable to convey my situation properly and there are alot of holes in the story which lead people into thinking that I'm at fault for not clearing up the situation properly.

But thanks to reddevil0728's advice, I guess the right thing to do now is to stick true to my condition.
If I can't, I can't.
As my condition is genuine, I need not be afraid of them doing anything to me.
Just got to take all that insults I hear from the people in my camp and throw away.

Exactly LOL if your condition is genuine then why the **** are you even trying to shoot yourself in the foot by doing what you're advised not to by your MO / doctors?

People with real back problems won't even dare to lift heavy stuffs or put strain on their back. It hurts like siao and it leads to further complications... You care so much about what people say about you for what? who's in pain? you or them?

ONLY ONCE A WEEK??? lol what a joke. You think A&E is ur private clinic ah. Such a selfish person. Deprive others who are more in need of life threatening treatment.
Yep, thats why I tell him go polyclinic

on top of that he can get better medical support and specialist referrals. A&E, as its name implies, Accidents & emergencies... Not to go and take medicine whenever he wants..

If you the doctor say no, the doctor say no. What can they do? Charge you? Then charge lor, your doctor will protect you.

A&E also got specialist on duty, but they can also refer to specialist.

Yea, I'll just do what ever my doctor/MO tell me to do since I'm not in the wrong, I'm doing what I was instructed to do.

I would love to go polyclinic as well, but now I'm banned from reporting sick outside

I'm quite an introvert that's why I don't dare to speak up, but if I don't want my condition to get worst, I'll have to speak up.

Thanks alot for all of the advice.

nobody can ban you. You go take mc from polyclinic, have mo endorse not like they can do anything about it. IF you are really sick of course.

Yea, all they do is ban MC.
So if they say A&E only, I'll just ignore that and take MC and come back endorse?
Since they always say A&E only, polyclinic not allowed.

Maybe I will put it this way for you.

Had you not been viewed as an alleged malinger, if you really went to Private Hospital or Polyclinic to get MC, the most they can do to you is to ask you back to endorse your MC.

However, given that you have been viewed as an alleged malinger, don't give them the reason to find problem with you. They can say that you were told that if you are really that sick that you cannot go back camp to see MO, then you can go A&E, if not you cannot go Polyclinic and Private Hospital. If you still go, go Polyclinic and Private Hospital, maybe they can charge you for disobeying orders, but then they still have to honour your MC if the MO endorsed it.

The question is why are you keep playing MC? Sounds so suspect.

I'm not trying to play MC, Im trying to get pain killers to alleviate my pain. That's all about it.

If you're really not playing mc then why you keep taking mc outside camp? You could've requested for the meds and decline any mc if you're genuine about it. There's too many loopholes in your story to the extend that even as an outsider who dislikes ns, I also believe you're malingering

Seems like I'll need to pick my words wisely.
My main priority is the medicine and my camp doesn't have MO that's why.
I did tell my sir that I just need medicine but was told to go to A&E anyways.

There was an incident where I told them a week before hand that I had medical appointment with the dermatologist and on the day I went for it, they said to give them evidence for the MA or else I'll be charged for malingering even though I've already given them evidence before hand.

Luckily enough, the doctor wrote a memo that I went there with appointment to check on my condition etc etc. So they couldn't do anything to me.

I thought it's SOP that it is a requirement to submit the time sheet for any medical appointment? Even if there's no SOP, you should request for it to cover your ass.

You should consult your s1 branch with all these issues instead of posting here, otherwise you'll be charged sooner or later going by how many stunts you already committed.

Agreed with what ashethen is saying. If not trying to play MC, then why keep talking about MC also.
