#WhyEdgeHalfWay #HotCurves

Nowadays pgone even cheap ones like xiaomi got too much customise ware made phone lagging

That's why users are increasingly turning to manufacturers whose skin are as light and as close to Google's as possible~ :o

microsd slot is advantage for example the price different between iphone 6 plus 16gb vs 64gb is 140bucks for a 48gb increase in storage while currently with that price you can purchase a 128gb microsd. LG G flex 2 bad point is non-removable battery which i prefer removable battery

internal storage of 64GB with no microsd slot no good.

But current sharp phones lost their internal 3x optical zoom, seems like just normal phone camera

If it is software issues, still got hopes if LG want to improve it.

if the software out of box is full of problems then typically I wouldn't expect much from the OEM in the device's manufacturing life time. probably more practical to pin my hope to the devs at XDA. :s13:

now samsung learn from apple n android dont put external microsd slot it will force users to buy higher capacity phone at much higher price than microsd price. Lucky Lg G flex 2 got microsd slot Because storage space, like Rams & money, are not never enough .

Yes good that LG G Flex 2 has microsd slot.
No removable battery not that bad, just carry a powerbank will do.

Actually Michael Fisher from Pocketnow sums it up the best for me...

In case it’s not obvious by this point, I’m not one of those people. While some phones are worth swallowing high import prices in order to snag them before their stateside launch, the G Flex 2 isn’t (yet) one of them.

That’s not because it’s is a bad device. For one thing, it utterly dominates as a showboat: no other smartphone combines great looks with a comfortable build and innovative materials like this. Especially in Flamenco Red, it’s a genuinely drool-worthy piece of kit. And as a sequel to the original, the G Flex 2 is often brilliant. It’s smaller, svelter, and just as futuristic while simultaneously more accessible to the mainstream. On paper, the G Flex 2 is the perfect “flagship companion” for LG: a mid-cycle premium product meant to augment the primary flagship line (think Galaxy Note vs Galaxy S).

But in the real world, the G Flex 2 is handicapped by one of its biggest differentiators. The stormy relationship between the Snapdragon 810, Android Lollipop and LG’s custom interface makes for a very inconsistent software experience – one that gets more frustrating the longer you use it. Once LG corrects these issues, via its promised software updates or hardware revisions, the G Flex 2 might live up to the potential of its impressive specs and futuristic design. For now, it’s more valuable as yet another reminder that specs aren’t everything.

I really want to like the device. But LG's software/UI department needs a refresh. If by the G4 LG still can't get it right, maybe they should start considering getting some fresh blood into their software/UI design department.

LG clearly makes some superb hardware. POLED curve display, Laser auto focus, rear mounted buttons (i love these in the G2). Even the batteries tech is from their own LG Chem. Even other companies like Motorola is using their batteries. Also just look at how many people love the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5.

But somehow they just can't get the software right. :/ They have been slowly improving, but their competitors are improving at a much faster rate (Samsung). Hopefully the G4 will prove me wrong. :s22:

Does LG release software updates for their phones regularly ?
If they do, then the LG G Flex 2 might become better.

hahaha. 403ppi is still not too bad la. If you look very very closely at the screen can probably tell the difference between FHD and QHD, but if from normal usage distance, probably not much difference.

also, I know Snapdragon 810 has support for cat 9 LTE, but does the G Flex 2 support the Cat 6 LTE we have now? Does it have the required band support?

Hmm for Pentile you can really tell the difference. But for normal RGB Full HD vs QHD I'm not too sure. Is it that obvious? Then again, I've been coping fine with 24" FHD for many years now :s13:

Yea, don't have another option to increase the storage... :( On the other hand, I think I read elsewhere the rationale for Goggle's push towards onboard and cloud storage is because external storage is more likely to be corrupted~ :o
